I have no issues with the UI. It's rather simple. Not Diablo 3 simple, but still pretty much straightforward for an action RPG.

Reading these comments and complaints about Witcher 3 I lost all hope and now I've just jumped in my time machine and gone back to Planescape Torment which to me was a classic, almost perfect game. While I was time jumping I somehow brought the internet with me and along with it a load of whiney, spoiled, entitled brats I don't know how that happened.
I am now reading comments about PT that completely ignore the amazing gameplay and story and narrative in one of the best RPG's of all time and instead concentrate on how poor the graphics and UI are compared to game X.
I am now trying to invent a device that immediately obliterates complete fuckwits on the internet on detection. It may take some time but I will get there. Don't say you haven't been warned.
If you succeed, I call first dibs.
We got a guy locally looking to trade Witcher 3 for Wii U games cause he didnt like the feel of Witcher 3. He wrote in description, great game, not for me, will trade for Wii U games. Witcher 3 plus cash for Pikmin 3.
I was like DAMN son.
Yeah, maybe he can get Mario PArty.
@jhonMalcovich: maybe it's UI doesn't have a great design but calling it the worst is way over the top.I'm sure CDPR will fix these problems with new patches and updates , not to mention the modders.... you ppl need to chill the **** out
@Cloud_imperium What's your take on UI?
It's not the worst UI ever made but it's also not the best one I've ever seen. Could've been better. I still like UI of the first game the most. It was 100% designed for mouse and keyboard with no compromises. With second and third game they had to come up with the solution to make it work both on Controllers and M&K. They said they'll have different UIs for PCs and Consoles in Witcher 3 but that's not the case here.

Thanks, didn't have any problem with the UI of the second one , if it's as good as that then i'll be okay i guess.
I dunno, I havent played the Witcher 3 myself, but have seen the UI layout from a few playthroughs.
Im a UX developer and alot of games in general have poor UI. Witcher 3's is clean but doesnt seem too bad in terms of functionality, i'd have to toy around it myself for long periods of time to see how it really holds, up though..
It cant be as bad as Two Worlds 2, Mount & Blade or Vanilla Skyrim.
Oblivion, Skyrim, hell even Two Worlds had a better U.I.
Last night I was thinking about this too . Why do I have to open a menu to put 2 more bombs in a slot? Lots of menu time in this game. Still having a blast though.

Yup, opening the radial menu, pointing at an item, then hitting up/down on the d-pad should scroll through all available items in that slot.
mfw playing Witcher 3 with kb/m. I switched to gamepad in the first few hours, playing with the keyboard is a nightmare.
Was thinking about that today. Hate how you have to go to the menu for everything.
Yeah it does get a bit annoying after a while... they need some kind of quick menu option.
I only have a few little problems with it. Recently I found out that holding the "start" button will automatically bring you to the world map.

You saved my life.
