and thats it halo is just like quake which came years before it

WTH, how can you even say that, Halo is a great FPS but the gameplay is nothing new, it only stands out because of it's multiplayer.

I have yet to see or hear one feature of Crysis that sets itself apart from the current FPS's available. 

whats new? farcy brough non linear game play to shooters, all the levels are mulitipathed unlike anything beofre it and just about every shooter since, and what other fps lets you take enimies out from miles away? halo sure doesn't and its single play has nothing on farcy's

then tell me why there has yet ot come out that hooks me as much as farcry? its not like they will make crysis worse than facry.  halo is just run down the corridor and shoot everything while facry is all open and some levels have over 3 different ways of doing the same thing

I fail to see what makes Far Cry so special. From what I've played of its several incarnations, it seems to be nothing but an average FPS...project343

unless you have played the pc version made by crytek not ubi's version you can't say anytihing

I've played both Farcry and Halo (1 &2), both have there strong points but, I'm gonna have to go with Halo 2 on this one, Halo felt alot more fluid and less stiff in the control area than Farcry did. Don't get me wrong, I love Farcry, but Halo feels more than Farcry when it comes to controls.ShrabsterJoe

The PC version and the console versions are totally different. There is nothing wrong with the controls in the PC version. The only game Crytek has ever made was the PC version of FarCry. They had nothing to do with the console rip-offs.

Every game doesn't need to be revolutionary to be fun.

Would you rather play a game that is highly original but just plain boring, or a game highly unoriginal but fun as hell?
