With Knack and Killzone flops, does the xbone seem more appealing?

No.......still PS4 1080p better and cheaper than XBone 720p.

It's disappointing that the more freeform designed levels apparently was a bit of a bamboozle, a little hoodwink. Might not have bothered picking up Killzone, had I gotten a PS4.
Knack could only go up from where it charted on my radar. Unfortunate that it didn't, but it doesn't affect me any.

The XB1's offering is the same as it's always been, so no, no impact on that at all.
I suppose what it does do is reaffirm my decision that I made the right choice postponing my next-gen purchase.

I was honestly expecting no less than a 90 on MC. I would've been shocked with anything under an 85 but the last time I checked it was a 71. That game must have a lot of problems.

Then our only hope is the pc. Again.

Hell yeah it's a surprise. Sony hyped this game as the second coming.

Meh at both launch line ups. but I'm sure they will get better next year.

All Killzone had going for it was graphics. And even on that incredibly shallow anemic level, pc outclassed this game years before release.

No, X1 is a terrible inferior console

I think what the Xbox One is doing right makes it more appealing than what the PS4 is doing wrong. All these PS4 launch games flopping just helps people that didn't preorder decide whether they should get a PS4 at launch. And if it's already too late and have it paid off, then they'll have buyers remorse for months to come.

Although I dont think it is enough to warrant a purchase... I do believe the best looking game from both launches is DR3. The only other game that is appealing is FF15, both will have this.

Deep Down could be a sleeper.... although I was not impressed with the clunky UI in that video a month back.

Wii U looks like the clear choice this holiday atm.

No. Launch line ups are always terrible for the most part..From the looks of it though, the PS4 is going to be pretty badass. It just isn't now.

And you can bet your ass cows are going to hear it. And rightfully so. It's gonna be lovely.

All of the Banderas/Kaz gifs in the world cant save this launch lineup.

scores don't really chance anything for me, i could still enjoy knack

but with a 4/10, I'm just in less of a hurry to grab a ps4.

xb1 is still equally as appealling - not going to spend any money in a hurry, either.

Criticizing either lineup over the other is like standing in a pile of shit and telling someone their breath stinks.

Xbone launch games will be just as mediocre. Forza looks like the best racing sim ever made, but it's got way too few cars and tracks and doesn't add much of anything over the predecessors other than the new laser-scanning technique for the tracks, which most people wont notice unless they're really into motorsport. So all those things will go against it.

Dead Rising 3 might be fun as hell but with the shitty graphics and poor frame rates, that'll bog down the review scores.

Ryse looked like ass from day one.

Just helps reinforce my opinion that the X1 is head and shoulders above the ps4.

@YD_11: why exactly? Its launch line-up doesnt look any good at all. Only Forza 5 has a slightly chance of getting AAA and even that I'm not even sure since Forza 4 had a LOT more than Forza 5 and only got to AA

not just the games my friend. The UI, snapping, tv, online and Kinect features all add to it.

Literally all the ps4 had to offer was better specs and their exclusive games.. So far no dice

Online - You havent tried PS4 online. Many morons are confusing PS3 PSN with PS4 PSN wich is NOT the same. PSN will be a paid service now. It'll most certainly will be better than PS3 online. If its equal or better than XBL only time will tell. Dont pull facts out of your a**

Kinect - The PS4 will also have its own camera thing with PSEye wich, going by several statements, can do everything Kinect does i.e. facial recognition, voice control, etc, etc. The only difference is that Sony isnt trying to shove it down our throats and in the process increase the retail price of its console because of it.

Concluding, even with a terrible launch line-up, the PS4 still looks like the best console out of the three. And it will be in the long term. Sony already proved it has one of the best 1st party in the industry. MS is laughably bad when it comes to exclusives.

If I cared about having a system right at launch, the XB1 looks like the more fun console. The games look better/interest me more than Sony's.

But I don't, so no not really. I'm playing the waiting game.

Nope. Launch games on ANY launch systems are usually NEVER appealing.

True I haven't tried the ps4 UI but did read some of the system reviews stating issues it was having. Besides, from the demos I've seen of both running flawlessly, the X1 wins easy.

TV integration works as I can watch tv and still get game invites and such. Plus, snapping is essentially having two applications (games, internet, tv, music, Skype, etc.) picture in picture style. I cam have a game on in the corner of the screen while I play a game for example.

I trust online will still be better with XBL as they have added cloud service and dedicated servers for all devs.

Kinect is far superior and is already fully featured in the UI. Plus it can see in the dark which eases playing in various lighting styles.

No need to get so animated

The saving grace for console exclusives this year will probably be Forza. The game deserves more sales.

I still think PC is a way better choice for this generation.

The games on XONE were already more appealing before the reviews came for the PS4 games. Just not appealing enough to warrant the high price of entry.
