Mine is Spider-Man the game of the movie on the ps2 xD
But the first game that I remember that I thought that was epic and made me addicted to gaming is

I believe it was the Magnavox Odyssey in 72 that was the first home console available to consumers, if you discount vector displays such as the vextrex (sp?)
Anyone here a first generation gamer? I think and Original Atari fall in this category and some others as well i think, not sure what though.
Supa Mario World for the SNES was my first time but I wasn't emotionally ready for it and it ended up hurting me really badly. I should have waited for a partner that was going to be there for me and love me.
Since then its all been downhill with many one night stands, returns, rentals, and other mistakes.

How young are you?
Never mind. I just remembered who you are. That answers everything :P
WWF Super Wrestlemania for the SNES. The next two games I played were Super Mario World and Super Street Fighter 2, as well as King of the Monsters and Zombies Ate My Neighbors. Man, I played violent games (save for Super Mario World) for a kid not even in school yet. :P

I think he meant how old are you, being a PS2 game was your first.[QUOTE="carljohnson3456"]Mario and Duck Hunt on the NES. ArisShadowsWhat he said. I'm kinda surprised how young some people are on here. In a way I feel privileged to have experienced the NES era. So many kids started during the N64/PS1 era... I did play some Atari as a kid, but NES was my first console. Glad I got to see Nintendo from the (mainstream) beginning.
WOW............ Umm, just....wow. I really can't stop laughing.Super Mario World popped my gaming cherry I suppose.

I feel the same. I can't fathom the first game somebody played was in... 3D!
With Atari 2600 you had to use your imagination more, but in a way it added to the fun.
I remember seeing Super Mario Bros on NES for the first time and being amazed at it's graphics (compared to Atari 2600 it was a huge jump.)
For some kid to say the first game they played was Mario 64 or something makes me feel really old, but at the same very appreciative of what decade I was born in.
I do however feel slightly jealous for the people out there who were born in the early 70's or early. I missed that whole playing Space Invaders and Pacman in the arcade generation.

I have a vectrex. It was the first 3d console. Bought it a about 10 years ago, i think it came it about 5 years before the Sega 3d system. It makes flash games look amazing but the gameplay is simple yet hard. Please Log In to post.
