you guys want to hear real war stories... my cousin ate monkey brains to survive in the jungle during a war. my uncle stabbed an unarmed enemy soldier in the back unexpectedly to avoid detection. another of my uncles claims he threw a guy towards a mine field (he said they were both trying to throw each other towards it). so you guys still think knocking out a guy in the crotch is dirty in war? pffffttt snake lets them live sometimes lol. no i am not joking this are real war stories...which war? nicaraguan civil war...

I believe that Gamespot needs to go back to being frugal with their "10" scores. Even though MGS4 deserves it more than GTA, 2 10s in 2 months is ludicrous. This is a site that hadn't given a 10 score in what, 6-7 years?

Indeed. Both of these games were also advertised on the site. If you're on these forums often enough, you would know that GTA4's score was modified. It was, for a while, a 9.5. IT was then changed without reason to a 10. MGS4 was advertised and it got a 10... odd, isn't it?

GTA4 was the first 10 since THPS2, and MGS4 is now the first 10 since last month. Actually, I don't think anyone with half a brain has fully trusted Gamespot's console reviews since Jeff Gerstmann was fired.

Actually I do remember some fanboys on GT whining when GTA IV got a 9.5. But, I don't think I saw it in my browser; only in an image.

You know that Haze was also advertised but still got a 6.0 so that debunks that myth. And the other thing: why would it be weird for 2 great games to score 10? It was just a coincidence that they released so close to each other.

I bought MGS2 thinking its an awesome game but it sucked for me. However, i loved MGS3 and hope 4 follows in its step.

Around 16 hours, completed the game on european normal and watched all cut-scenes + codec conversations.

Its a real letdown if you ask me, a few boss battles feels like your just on the shooting range -.-
