Am looking forward to home. Heard a lot about it.
But am guessing a lot of people envy it, a so called second life copy cat.
In my opinion, its the best of both worlds, mmo and second life in one in a way.
I think everyone should hop on board and enjoy. Dont be hating.
lol, no thanks. this hasn't the complexity or maturity of second life, nor the depth / quests of an mmo. it's a virtual chat area, that's it. no need to try to make it more complex than it is.Am looking forward to home. Heard a lot about it.

Precisely why it will be good. It wont suck up you hours away like they do.
Its fresh, new, and looks good. I havnt played it yet, but it looks like something every ps3 should have.
If you want second life or some mmo, by all means, go ahead. Home will would work great to play with my friends, have a quick blast, in between gaming, studying, relationships, training, hobbies, going out and so on. You get my point. :)

precisely why it's bad to me - i abhor virtual chat rooms for many reasons. it's one thing to play a game with friends, it's another thing altogether to just sit in silly virtual chat rooms.[QUOTE="g0ddyX"][QUOTE="3picuri3"] lol, no thanks. this hasn't the complexity or maturity of second life, nor the depth / quests of an mmo. it's a virtual chat area, that's it. no need to try to make it more complex than it is.3picuri3

Maybe it all boils down to this, whats fun for you?
Too much hating, just try it and see what you make out of it. Like you would with most games too.
lol ur addicted to home?
try this...
after this its...
BYE BYE!!!
you mean nerds of nerdcraft? lol no thanx..i would never pay $15 a month to play a videogame let a alone a very boring one.It reminds me of an mmo without the quests. kazrium
You know what's more fun? Talking and joking with friends...whilst playing good games...not that PS3 can't do that but it seems pointless talking in HOME for like 3 hours when you can talk with friends for 3 hours and have more fun playing COD or Resistance...bobbetybobI guess the point kicks in when some of your friends live a couple hundred miles away from you.
[QUOTE="naruto7777"]so it didnt flop like r2,lair, and LBPkozzy1234
Resistance 2 didnt flopÂ
nor did LBP...I think Naruto7777 is high on the fanboy juice :?I just spent the last 8 hours (no joke) on Home. (Ofcourse with breaks for the Thanksgiving stuff).
Man this is addicting.
If you plan on doing nothing but walking around in Home, Home will probably bore you. But if you plan on talking to other people, meeting new people and stuff, it's a BLAST.
Me, and 3 other people were doing the running man for atleast an hour and a half straight, and just left it there while all of us were talking about random BS and making each other laugh.
Then there's people who are so weird by making the weirdest characters or have funny names come in and we talk about them and they join our group, this stuff is great now I have 3 new PSN friends who I feel like I actually KNOW and not some random people who add me because i'm good at a game or something.
Seriously PS3 owners who are planning on using Home as a social network are in for a really huge treat. This stuff is massively addicting in my opinion.
P.S. I'd also like to add that i'm really really glad Sony has taken a long time finishing Home. To say this application is polished is an understatement. I have not gotten into 1 major bug yet, no problems what so ever. There's a few glitches that people found out, but no big things that would ruin your experience or anything. A lot of people were complaining that there wasn't much to do in Home, but that's because they're running around by THEMSELVES. Once you join a group it's insanely fun to go to the bowling alley or just sit in a circle in the Mall and talk for a long time.
And that will be fun for how long? Sounds to me like it will get boring after the newness wears off.No it isn't. I've been a member of the Home Beta for quite a while now. All it is is dude avatars trying to hit on chick avatars, dudes "popping it" and doing other silly dance moves, and the Socom clip running over and over again. It's a complete bore, and absolutely useless if you don't want to pick up chick avatars and take them on a bowling date.BioShockOwnz
Wow arent you an extreme fanboy. Everything about you say is anti-PS3, I can no longer believe you own a PS3. If you hate it so much you wouldnt have brought it and even if you did you would have sold it by now. Too bad you really dont have one and wont get a chance to play PS3's exclusives (Uncharted 1 and 2, Motorsotrm Pacific rift, GT5, White Knight Chronicles, God of War 3, Killzone 2, Team ICO game and more) which will be better than any PC games the 360 has . Really, I know that the PS3 is a bit expensive but dont complain about it just because its expensive and above your budget!

[QUOTE="Giancar"][QUOTE="SpruceCaboose"] The more I hear about Home, the less I care to try it.CODjon84it will better with "games rooms" and those kind of stuff not my cup of tea, but still funny to go sometimes I love Home, my only worry that its actually so good and addictive that it will distract me from my PS3 games,, yes its that good in my opinion!! for instance, I turned on my PS3 earlier tonight to play some Motorstorm PR, instead I decided to jump in home "for only a few mins" well i met this really cool dude, we played pool and what not, walked around the mall and just talked with other people about Games, before i know it 1 hour went by then 2 hours then my mic and controller died so i had to charge them.. But yea, Home is amazing and im lovin it so far! My only worry now is allocating my time for Home and actual PS3 games because home is very addictive and i really dont want to be distracted from my actual PS3 games Get on one knee and ask him to marry you? Or is that next week?
