It also didn't make sense that the wrench was the best weapon in the game. Great experience on the first play through, but as I said before, I couldn't force myself to beat it a second time.you are either not a fan of fps, which is understandable.

I agree, it presented beautifully. I should have liked it. I just didn't. The gameplay wasn't my sort of thing with the EVE fueled perks with unnatural weapons; I'm not scared eaily by the horror and story can only entice me so far as I read much better tales in books.[QUOTE="Episode_Eve"][QUOTE="clembo1990"] Wrong and wrong I didn't like Bioshock either.DragonfireXZ95

I can agree with much yall are saying. When I said shooter, I was simply categorizing it for what it is and what I'll remember it being. The other components being presentation, lore, and narrative. The shooting wasn't the best part of the game, nor in the genre. But it was above average and fun along with the simplistic leveling which kept things fresh. I hope they do improve on those mechanics for the sequel.[QUOTE="Episode_Eve"] Man, Bioshock was one of the best shooter (and gaming) experiences of my life. What didn't you like about it?clembo1990

They're bulky and not athletic, but surprisingly fast. If this is true, they better make it feel perfect and pleasantly unconventional.Interesting news but isnt a big daddy supposed to move veeeery slow?
PAL360
makes sense since you become a big daddy at the end of the first game[QUOTE="SAGE_OF_FIRE"]

Lies. You don't "become" one. You do wear the suit to sneak into an area but you don't become one.
Putting on a suit is dressing as one but changing your body is basically becoming oneMan, Bioshock was one of the best shooter (and gaming) experiences of my life. What didn't you like about it? Yep moral choices are so stupid, it's not like we ever face them in real life. I mean if only life was like a Call of Duty game, if it moves shoot it, it would all be so much simpler.Sounds too much like Bioshock one, especially the stupid moral choice system. Well I guess I'm passing on this one.
Vaasman
That's one thing I hated from the first. The moral choice system not at all, but consequence and effect of it all. The way they determined the endings was poor and the endings themselves were lame.Sounds too much like Bioshock one, especially the stupid moral choice system. Well I guess I'm passing on this one.

So this debunks that it isn't a prequel wow 2k can get confusing first they say its a sequel now a prequel!

Don't get me wrong, I like moral choice systems, especially some of the ones from different Bioware games. But in Bioshock it just feels stupid. I feel absolutely no connection between me, the main character, or the little sisters, so really the only reason I would pick rescuing over killing is because I want a good ending. But the thing is there are only 2 possible outcomes, super good or super evil, so theres really no reason for the choice, just whichever one is more profitable really.Sounds too much like Bioshock one, especially the stupid moral choice system. Well I guess I'm passing on this one.

sounds fake.. theres so much mixed info about this game, its probably best to wait for a while so we can get some info from the devs themselves
It's not for everyone. A lot of people didn't like MGS IV either. Great games are not always great for everyone. That's just the facts.Bioshock sucked.

A friend of mine brought the game round. I cant say i loved it... Ad Im a huge shooter fan. Its ok not to like a game. At the end of the day, different people like different things in games. I also don't know what people see it It bored me.So I guess that we'll be a hybrid of the Rosie and Bouncer Daddies eh?...the more I think about it the more I find it appealing, Beating the crap out of soviets and splicers as a deep sea frankistein in steam punk armor? sounds pretty good to me!! :P
And being able to mix and match and combine plasmids together sounds like a riot...I think my faith is being restored in this game! :)

I didn't enjoy Bioshock either. I love FPS and I am a pretty hardcore gamer. It's not you typical call-of-duty or Halo experience, and it's meant to be played differently. I can't stand games like Call of Duty or Halo, but I adore Bioshock. It's just like the people who complain about the gunplay in the Half-Life series not being as "tight" as other franchises - the core of the experience is not in the traditional gunplay.
