Cool, more RTS's on Xbox 360. So far they all have been AA so they must be worth playing on a console. I wish they brought Company of Heroes to 360. That game is badass.

This game looks pretty sweet, and the multiplayer sounds like a load of fun too. Not sure whether I'm gonna pick this up for the PC or the 360 though... odds are it'll be for PCSpaceMattYou should get the beta it is a lot of fun.
Im going to wait till Sierra to confirm this although I know myself that the possibility for an console port was pretty high. Im playing the beta and I think the game is pretty awesome.

Beta? Say wha?
If it's multiplayer though I can't... my wireless absolutely blows for gaming. I average a lag-out every couple of minutes, which really makes PC games unplayable.

That's because no one even knows what this game is. Maybe a few PC gamers who were in the closed betaAccording to that site you provided a link to, it said that World in Conflict was the most anticipated PC RTS of the year. Plenty of PC gamers know about this game. Maybe you should visit the PC board sometime.
It is just a different type of RTS, not your standard resource collection, basebuilding rts.yeah, the Beta is a blast to play, I just got like 5 nukes thrown into my face in one game.
Its not really an RTS though.

SpaceMatt it is MP Beta only.:(
Are you referring to the closed Beta that Gamespot advertised, because they're telling me they're out of keys for it. If there's an open beta however, if you could point me in the right direction I will happily jump all over that.SpaceMattIt is a closed beta.
It is a fun game and it is defiantly basic enough to play well on consoles. Only problem with the game is the factions have no apparent differences, maybe that is just in the beta.smokeydabear076
You really think it's basic enough to play on consoles? IMO it's not. At first, I thought it was, but as I played I found out that it wouldn't work that well. You have to constantly micro units and get the in exact positions and directions in order to come out alive in an engagement. You have to constantly move the curser around like crazy to tell which units to attack which units, most of which are hard to click because they are moving so fast, even with a curser. Very fun game though. The beta is awesome. Can't wait to see what it's like to play with a very well organized team.

So much for that idea then... no keys to be had. Gonna have to wait for retail it looks like

I guess I just thought it was easy. Anyways this style of RTS fits consoles better than the C&C style games IMO.[QUOTE="TekkenMaster606"]Low to midrange.

GEOW only be able on High End.
Really, considering the developer of that game made the comment I was pointing out...

Also, the 360 work we did resulted in an engine that also runs well on low-end and mid-range PCs.

My brother told me the PC beta BLEW ***. Still, it looked pretty. Best of luck.

Yeah you should get the option to Use keyboard and mouse for singleplayer.
No USB ports : (
RTS + controller = :(BEAN_LARD_MULCH
Indeed. RTS games are probably the only genre I don't really like on consoles. But we'll see how this one turns out.

How long did he play it for and how many players were in the servers he played in? The gamemode in the beta isn't particularly well-suited for only a couple of players--they're best played with 16.

keyboard works on 360, i play with it on ffxi, i never tried a mouse. RTS on console are not bad actually, they all the same to me.
warhammer on psx was the bomb, C&C for 360 is the bomb. i just wish they bring company of heroes too that game is great for pc.. only played the multiplayer though.
Games for Windows program should be enlisted with "crap" in the dictionary.IgGy621985why? to my knowledge the games for windows program has done nothing but good things for the pc gaming industry.

Because, as far as I currently see it, Games for Windows = another source for library of Xbox 360 games.
There are literaly two (World in Conflict now excluded) upcoming Games for Windows "major" exclusives: Hellgate: London and Crysis.
Everything else practically gets a simultaneous release on Xbox 360.
What about Xbox 360 exclusives? Heck, I want some good upcoming Xbox 360 games on "Games for Windows" platform aswell.
Dead Rising 2? The first one seemed like a pretty cool game.
Forza Motorsport 3? (yeah, I know, not yet announced, but it will...) Why the heck not?
But no. Major exclusives will be (if they will) ported to GfW about the time when the sequel gets released on Xbox 360. That's happening with Gears of War, for example.
So that's why I believe that Games for Windows is (currently) a nice, big, fat, pile of smelly crap.
This is excellent news. The new Sega game (made by the Star Wars RTS guys) plus this, and C+C3 on 360 is very good - RTS really does have a place on the 360. It's very good.Sagacious_Tien
The other game you're thinking of is Universe at War: Earth Assault (or something along those lines)
