The problem with WoW is that you have to pay a monthly fee. I already don't pay for PC games, so why would I go as far as paying a monthly fee for one?PS2_ROCKS

lol you are just seriously in denial for some reason. It is not hard at all to believe that there are 10 million WoW subscribers. It is a very popular game and if you read the article and examined the numbers in each country you can see that there was a huge increase in asia. The CEO even thanks people that created accounts or came back during the holidays. Use your head, it is really sad that you would listen to some random guys blog on the internet than a great company like Blizzard.

They aint got access to blizzards database but they got in ARMORY. Eu and Us total numbers of characters are by far less than active accounts. You want or not thats the truth. Some claiming that >10 lvl dont show in there. But Armory shows also all alts and inactive players too.So,how is that possible? except if you got so many in ASIA (more than 4-5millions,most of them inactive gold farmers chinese i bet) that fill the gap.

I don't know the exact number, but I've heard they've made nearly 4 billion dollars on WOW thus far. That would make it the most successful videogame ever, by several billion dollars.

Check of your own is simple.

I did it .I didnt beleive the numbers since 8 millions. I was FAN of the game since AQ patch playing since beta. Numbers didnt seem so accurate.

After the numbers Blizzard claimed and the spot where they said 8 millions players worldwide,they changed it to 8 millions boldy entered.

After Armory introduced to ppl, you could easily count all characters in armory,alts and all. Now there are many that did this and all counts were less than blizzards? So ALL of them are fake and liars? Thats how. And still im beleiving it. Same happened to many statements for many companies latetly.

I know when someone who loves a game,its fan of it,will defend hard what he beleives,as i am for MGS4,but some things that you investigated ,could be more reliable than just a Blizzard statement of its own game.

Now check the blog and read it all,youll understand exactly what im saying. There are more than this in Net.Dont think ALL lying.

Now thats my opinion,dont try to convince you,i cant do that. Im just saying things from other point of view,the one that beleives thats a fake number. EVEN if GOD make a statement that this is false number (10M) still fanboys wont take him serious or anything. I bet. So how youll take me. But ARMORY says it all.
