for some reason .. i think the second one looks better...but thats just me :Pdevious742Seriously? Wow...
Halo 3 kind of surprised me, yes the graphics look great, but considering what Bungie did with Halo and Halo 2(when they came out, they were mindblowing graphic wise) Halo 3 on the other hand I think falls to compare to some best looking games of this gen.
There is also Red Steel, that was huge lol.
is the first one concept art or something?bf2nuttaIt is from one of the first trailers, when this game was still believed "PS3 exclusive"
from gamecube to Wii! sorry couldnt resist. :Dprodiqy32
Im sure someone will cop a fit, but i got a laugh out of it, so i commend you sir.

I think Halo's art style doesn't lend itself to next-gen machines if you ask me. It's too colourful. As bungie said, they were really surprised when people said they didn't like the graphics as, if you look up close at anything, it's some of the best, most detailed textures in any console game to date. When you look at things broadly though, it just looks like a big candy-coloured landscape and you cant really see any of those crazy-detailed textures.
I appreciate them sticking to their art style, but i think they could have benefited by toning down the colour a little and going for a slightly more Gears/COD4 approach.
Thats CGI. You can't downgrade from CGI.Cedmln
Sure you can. Making a CGI trailer and saying the game will look like that, only to have it look nowhere near as good, is a downgrade if you ask me.

Wow, I remember when that trailer for DMC4 was first shown. Looks incredible.
Not only did the game not reach its traget in terms of graphics (that's okay, if the game did it would be the best looking game out there) but the character design for Dante was an epic downgrade was well.

Halo3 looked exactly as it should have..... sure more detail would have been nice (not saying it didn't have alot of detail, but more is always better, M I RITE?)
according to sony its "in game".[QUOTE="pro-nathan-07"][QUOTE="Cedmln"]Thats CGI. You can't downgrade from CGI.Cedmln
Um Hello. Sony doesn't own DMC 4. So Sony didn't say anything.

I never said Halo 3 looked bad or anything. But graphic wise, Halo 2 had a bigger wow factor than Halo 3 for me.[QUOTE="m_machine024"]Red Steel.Storm_Marine

Yeah Red Steel was a big downgrade. DMC4 was large too but not on Red Steel level.
