This generation, a tie between Bad Company, Ninja Gaiden 2 and SOCOM Confrontation. Of all time? Man... ummm.... OH! Eternal Darkness, by far. That game was TOTAL trash.

For me, I expected that Spyro Enter the Dragonfly to be good because his 1st 3 games were awesome, then I found out that there was a new developer, so I still gave it a chance and hated it. That game made me read reviews afterwards.

That sucks. I must admit that I did make the mistake of renting it.
Lost Planet; I loved the demo, but the entire game was nothing but the demo with different surroundings. After getting passed a few levels, I was bored with it and got rid of it. Rarely does that happen. Oh...wait, I also bought Serious Sam 2 and that was garbage compared to the first one.
Anyway, probably Assassin's Creed. It wasn't the worst game I've bought, but I always buy them cheap, but I fell for the hype with this one... :(

Vampire Rain. Yes, I actually bought that game. Believe it or not, I (for some reason) had high hopes for this game. Now I just want someone to kick me in the ass for that mistake.
Haze. yeah i know i was dumb for buying it.lol I just wanted to give the game the benefit of the doubt. Bad mistake. I made it to about the third level and quit playing and just traded it in. I would have been better off flushing that $60 down the toilet.
Paid $70 for Harry Potter and the GoF on Xbox. It was faulty kept freezing so I returned it, I hated it so I thought id get a diff. game so I got Shadow the Hedgehog (xbox). Both were crappy games :(
PS1 - Metal Gear Solid... bored me to tears, an action game with no action
PS2 - Killzone... bought the hype, my bad
Dreamcast - Shadowman... should have waited for the reviews
360 - Dead Rising... Any game where a walkthrough says that to get the most out of a game you need to be Level 30 is not good, horrible save system and you needed to replay the game over and over before you even had a chance to get anythign worthwhile out of it.

For me it was SSBB...I never liked SSB but for some reason I completed fell for the hype and the massive character selection. But I bought it at full price, played a few games and got bored with it....
this gen it would have to be.................. everything i bought on the wii except for resident evil 4 and umbrella chronicles and alone in the dark for 360
Smash Brothers Brawl for Wii. I'm sure I've paid money for games that scored lower, or were generally made worse...but I literally couldn't spend more than a few hours playing Brawl and then stopped playing it. At times I forget I ever bought the game in the first place.
I would have to say Far Cry 2, not because i think the game is really bad (from what i've actully been able to play it's pretty decent) BUT due to the fact the game is so broken (jackles curse, save game crashing etc) and the support is just terrible makes it a worthless purchase.

*sigh* I remember when I was like that...I miss being so carefree and easy to please. I bought any game that looked interesting, and nine times out of ten enjoyed it.
