Worst Games You've Played this Generation

Spore, followed by Fallout 3.

Gears of War on PC. There are few games I put down because they were boring (they can be boring gameplay wise but the story might compell me to go on) but Gears was the biggest disappointment this generation :(

I've played a few... here are some::

Chromehounds (X360): Terrible >:(

Far Cry Instincts Predator (X360): Terrible Controls

Mercenaries 2 World in Flames (PC): A PS2 Port with bad graphics and NO antialiasing.

I bought Mercenaries 2 for PC, but it wasnt a PS2 port, and as i ran it in higher res than a console and higer FPS, it WAS the better version.

Its just not a very good game!

two worlds, my friend made me play the game. it was laggy, bad graphics, horrible speech overs. it just got me pissed that i had to wait for the system to load every second of moving so i said i'm not playing this game.xscott1018

Amazing how many decent and good games got posted in this thread! If Mass Effect, Halo 3, or Killzone 2 are the worst games you played this generation, consider yourself lucky. All of them games are quality polished titles, regardless of your personal opinion....The majority of this board seems one step up from full blown imbecile sometimes....

Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom is the only really bad game from this gen that I have played.

This game can go die. I didn't even realize the picture for the logo was the girls posing, I thought it was Paine riding a weird looking horse.

But for this gen I suppose:

The hell did Free Radical do?! Timesplitters was great, but this was just utter crap.

I played lost planet and loved it, i then played Dead Rising and thought it was crap. The concept, characters and gameplay, i hated it all.

I can understand what your saying if i were going against you for believing DR was great. If someone says DR is great and they liked it, im not about to go and point out things why its not because its a matter of taste and i did not like it. I can gurantee you, you would have not came after me had i said "Dead Rising is the most amazing game ever 10/10 IMO!!" even though its technically not.The fact is that i just called a game you love absoloute crap and that made you angry.

Some people hate LP but love DR and theres people like me who are opposite. Ive also noticed from the two fanbases, DR fans are quick to jump on you if you dont like the game (im not saying you).Its not about being a fanboy i played it and thought it was crap.

Now that i think about it, the worse games i have played this gen are sonic 06 (borrowed not purchased) and DR.

Far Cry 2, Super Smash Brothers, Halo 3, The Lost and Damned, and anything on the Wii.

i dont play games when it will obviously be a bad game, so with the ones that i actually played, imma go with Assassin's Creed. that POS game is nothing but repetition at its best. ugh. i jsut hate that game sooo much, nothing else to do, VERY EASY, no variation whatsoever, you have to do the same things over and over and the cutscenes in the Assassin's Bureau are just a big WTF. boring, tedious plot and cutscenes. ugh.

the graphics are amazing, but gameplay-wise? meh. definitely not a $60 game. this is the rundown of the whole game:

1) go to a city, find the Assassin's Bureau. talk to the guy there.

2) go out, investigate, pickpocket, interrogate, eavesdrop.

3) go back to the Assassin's Bureau and talk to the guy

4) go search you target, assassinate, escape.

5) go to another city, find another Assassin's Bureau. talk to the guy there.

6) go out, investigate, pickpocket, interrogate, eavesdrop.

7) and so on...

that is the whole game.
