Worst Generation humanity ever witnessed?

I agree with you that every gen is better than the last.

More games are coming out than even before, more people and talent is working on games than ever before, most of the old talent is still making games, ... More AAA games than ever before, more indie games than ever before. More genres than ever before. A great return to form of a lot of older genres thanks to Kickstarter, community projects, ...

But there are serious problems that popped up this and last gen: Games releasing broken, eagerly awaiting a patch to become playable. Buying a game, expecting a full experience, but the full experience is right behind the "purchase DLC/microtransactions" button.

The good thing is you can avoid these types of schemes by sticking to better games and more trustworthy devs. You'll still have more games than you'll possibly have the time to play :)

This thread is confusing. What does OP mean by "worst generation"?

Because in terms of games, this is the best and every next gen has been better than the last. The quality of games are getting better.

But if you meant "worst generation" as in gamers, then yeah, I can agree with that. Most of you are bitter millennials who hate everything and never have fun. All you do is bash games all the time and call everything "mediocre".

You people are insanely negative. Everyday there is a new thread claiming this gen sucks and it has no games etc. PS4/xbone have only been out 1 year 11 months. It takes time to build an awesome game library. You people are impatient and delusional to expect 20 AAAA 10/10 games in the first year.
