Worst Rpg This Gen? Who will win?

I also want to nominate The 3rd Birthday (if it qualifies). The story alone makes it one of the worst I've played this gen, and alongside that, it has some poor design choices and a wonky camera.

from your list though.. mass effect aside. Two worlds... they pretty much challenged bethesda.. said it'd would be oblivion on steroids.. then released a game that was so clunky I couldn't get into it. Sure it may have had tons of content.. but whats the point if you can't enjoy it.

Okay, you at least have interactions between characters.

I'd say Lost Odyssey was the worst RPG this gen. Hated that game.

Hey I am 30 hours into that game right now.... and I completly understand where you are coming from...

Well I don't really understand why you have Mass Effect up there, but whatever. I loved Mass Effect.

Fable 3 and Two Worlds are straight garbage. I'm not fond of FF13 either, but it looks like a damn masterpiece compared to those two.

If I don't consider ME2 an RPG, I can't consider The 3rd Birthday RPG.

Both are third person shooters with light RPG elements, nothing more.

Too Human is considered a RPG? I thought it was just hack n' slash style game, and I almost beat the game. :|

I'm gonna go with Two Worlds, though. Not sure about the sequel since I've not played it, but the first one was just horrible.

New Vegas is the best RPG this gen, not the worst. You should replace it with Fallout 3 instead.

Dungeon Lords is by far the worst RPG this gen.

If you've never played Dungeon Lords... don't. You have been warned.

Check Gamespot.

Oh I remember Monster Hunter Freedom 2. Couldn't get into it and had a **** load of loading times.

I disagree with Mass Effect being on this list, one of the best RPGs of this gen.

FF13 was pretty tragic - a gorgeous game with an engaging battle system, ruined by extreme linearity and some of the most annoying characters the genre has ever seen.

Alpha Protocol, on the other hand, was a fantastic RPG bogged down by average gameplay. It was bland as an action game, but as an RPG it was amazing.

As an RPG, Mass Effect 2 is pretty ****

FF13 was horrible! What a waste of time.
