Modern Warfare 2Sp4rtan_3The killstreaks and camping was just overkill this time plus the campaign had an even more incoherent plot.
Any Driver game after the first one.
Devil May Cry 2
The bait & switch mess that was MGS2...
that's pretty much all I can think of right now.
edit. oh, and FF's VIII, X-2, and XII
Crackdown 2 was garbage you're right. Extremley dissapointed. You could've just played the demo over and over and over again if you wanted to experience what the full product had in store for you. Its a real shame they didnt rectify this problem with the sequel; it almost killed Crackdown for a few people.Any of the Driver games after the second.
Crackdown 2
Farcry 2
FF 13
Almost any Tomb Raider game after the second and before Legend.
Doom 3
Splinter Cell Double Agent

Fallout 3 wasn't bad at all. Sure it isn't as good as Fallout 1 & 2 but it is far from being a bad game. As for Deus Ex 2 I really do not understand the hate behind that game. As for the topic I would like to add FFXIII, FFX, Devil May Cry 2, Fay Cry 2, MGS4, Perfect Dark Zero, Silent Hill Homecoming
Resident Evil 5
Metal Gear Solid 2
Far Cry 2
Modern Warfare 2
Lost Planet 2
Fear 2
Halo 3
Soldier of Fortune Payback
probably Crackdown 2KevinButlerVPDoubt you played it :P I am going with X-2 (Daft game) FF8 Overlord 2, GTA San Andreas, GTA 4 (Although better than SA it was still dull.), Also going to knock DA Awakenings as well, as the first DA origins was amazing, and the awakenings expansion just killed it for me. Even more because none of the original characters returned, which they should have seeing as they where all still alive...
While it certainly isn't the worse....
Aside from adding online to multiplayer, and novel additions like hijacking and duel wielding, - Halo 2 was in every way a definition of a disappointing and downright poor sequel.
Of recent Crackdown 2 is a great example of a poor sequel that is worse than its predecessor.
What a coincidence! Apart from Far Cry 2, those all happen to be Xbox/360 exclusives.HALO 2
PDZ
HALO 3
ODST
Far Cry 2
Crackdown 2

I ghot a shield for you man. I agree with you on all of those except COD 2. I liked the PC version.[QUOTE="mo0ksi"]
Devil May Cry 2
Metal Gear Solid 2
FEAR 2
Doom 3
Call of Duty 2
I know some people have their guns and pitchforks ready. Bring it on I say.

I'm not sure why people would rag on him for those choices they are pretty good, nothing out of the ordinary lol
[QUOTE="BPoole96"]Highly disagree. While it isn't the worst sequel, and a good game in its own right. As far as a sequel to Fallout goes it isn't a great one and a disappointment.Fallout 3 definitely shouldn't be on that list

Well, being a console only gamer, Fallout 3 was my first experience with the series and I loved it. I've probably put 300-400 hours playing through the game as well as the DLCs. Can't wait for New Vegas!
Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows- This was/and still is the only bad Gauntlet game in existence. Despite what critics say, Legends and Dark Legacy were the last good games in that series. It's just Seven Sorrows ruined it all.
Mario Kart 64- Not a bad game, but I think it deserved what it got on Gamespot.
probably Crackdown 2KevinButlerVP
Crackdown 2 is by no means a bad game, but it was a terrible sequel it just didn't seem to add enough new content or improve on the imperfections of the previous title enough so I have to agree with you here on this one.

Oh that is all fair enough as a stand alone game I can't blame you for playing it to bits ;) For me it was good, but I had to get by that for most of the part it just wasn't everything Fallout was.Devil May Cry 2
Metal Gear Solid 2
FEAR 2
Doom 3
Call of Duty 2

My laptop isn't too good for gaming but I can't imagine I would need any sort of impressive specs to play them now

MGS2 > MGS1
seriously, idk why everyone hates raiden so much....i guess it's because he took your precious snake away?
i mean snake was still in the damn game...the gameplay formula was the exact same, the ONLY thing different was playing as raiden rather than snake is all, and i enjoyed that more
snake is a great character, but c'mon, you guys got way to hurt by that

I disagree, it's a pretty bad game. It took out a lot of the things that made the first game fun and added nothing interesting in it's place. It's still fun, but there isn't anything really compelling about it.[QUOTE="DarkGamer007"]

Because AAA games can be bad. It all depends on the person. How can AAA games be considered the worst sequels ever? :?
Also Age of Empires III should be on that list.zarshack

Your specs should be fine the genral rule with PC gaming is if you got a modern off the shelf laptop/PC take off 5-8 years and thats the game software you should be able to handle with ease.F.E.A.R 2 and Fary Cry 2 were terrible sequels, granted that you're not a sheep herded by the lies of these major publication sites and you are not able to formulate an opinion of your own. They betrayed many aspects of their predecessors and were just a bore. How can AAA games be considered the worst sequels ever? :?

I'd add all of those to the worst sequels list. Crisis Core and Revenant Wings weren't that bad. I thought they were pretty good considering they were spin-offs.[QUOTE="Ragnarok1051"]
FF isn't a sequel unless you put FFX-2, FF Revenant Wings, Dirge of Cerberus, or Crisis Core.

Every territory had a boss. Depending on which of the bosses lieutenants you took out, it affected the way the gang reacted afterwards. Things like accurate shooting for soldiers because morale was low and so on. Now it's just a bunch of stupid monsters running around. And transforming cars. They were awesome.
