Me too. It's crazy. Even the guys at gamestop said PS3's come in the store with RROd. It's terrible. I am on my 23rd, and I can't stop buying them. I called Sony, and they told me to go to hell. I sent them a check and an apolgy for the call wasting their time.

I know, Sony did the same thing to me. They said I didn't know what Iwas diong, like your "uncle". Sony doesn't know what they're doing. I have bought the pS3 23 times, but I am cutting them off at 35. Tell your uncle to send sony a check for an undisclosed sum, it's good karma. worked for me(plus i tightened the cords in the back).

No the 360 doesn't have blu ray but after all his frustration AND the 100 he saved from not buying a actual blu ray player he lost to sony who still didn't fix his system. He sold it on ebay and lost a total of $180 not bad but still.

That's funny. MY nephew bought a "broken" PS3 off Ebay, and he said it worked great. I will let him know that I met you! What a Small World! A LittleBigPlanet!

Hmm funny he actually exchanged his ps3 right before he sold it he's not a jerk he didn't want to give someone a ps3 that doesn't have a hdmi port that would make it useless if your actually trying to watch full HD movies. Oh just for the record costco didn't permit him to return his ps3 because it wasn't actually broken they accept it if it really can't do anything. Xbox 360 they take it back no questions asked.
This isn't a bashing thread, its just to talk about personal expieriences. The only system I've had problems with is 360. DVD drive errors and 2 RROD's caused me to get rid of it. So far no problems with the used PS3 that replaced it.neo_z28
Playstation 1. Even though the games were enjoyable, the system was crap. Mine started to die just after 2yrs. I kept getting disc errors and sometimes the game would freeze up before I got a chance to finish or save my game. I literally had to turn the system upside or on its side to get it to work. Unlike the XBox 360 where you can send it in and get it replaced for FREE. Sony offered nothing like that and continued to deny the problem up until the PS2 was released. The only other systems that were worse (that I didn't own) were the Jaguar and Virtual Boy. Even my Turbographix and Colecovision didn't have that much system problems.
The Wii...by far.
And this comes from someone who owned a Bally Entertainment System, an Atari 5200, and a SMS. All of which entertained me longer and better than the Wii did...which only lasted half a year before I sold it.

Why are you comparing the PSOne's warranty to the 360? M$ was the LAST one to adopt a ONE YEAR WARRANTY. The 3 Year only works on RROD. Still, I do know what you are talking about, I just would choose something I played a LOT less, like the Atari 5200, etc.
