What do think is the worst videogame name?
Massive Action Game. It sounds so generic.

And no, I did not google this and I found this out from a top 10 list.
SpiritOfFire117
OMG, Spirit. That's so bad... Thread over, imo.
haze i would say. its not like we are hazing anything in the game or whatever that name should mean...
also why did gears of war name the game, gears of war...there is god of war and then abbreviations are always confused. geow and gow...and then there is metal gear solid...so did they look at 2 good games and say. well lets take gears from metal gear. and of war from god of war...and came up with gears of war...i kinda dont get why they named it similar..or haze/halo...sounds bout the same....
Yes however they dont call in that on the cover. They refer to it as mag[QUOTE="Respawn-d"][QUOTE="Ravensmash"]Lol at Massive Action Game.SgtKevali
Yup, but what the heck were they thinking, lol?
They were thinking Hmm, its massive, its got action and its a game. Lets not spend any more time on developing the name and just go with that! Either that, or they hired some horrible marketing company who thought the name was genius .....Yes however they dont call in that on the cover. They refer to it as mag[QUOTE="Respawn-d"][QUOTE="Ravensmash"]Lol at Massive Action Game.SgtKevali

They wanted ppl to call it MAG. A mag is also refers to magazine (u know for guns) . It was a clever play on wordshaze i would say. its not like we are hazing anything in the game or whatever that name should mean...

Gears are soldiers.
they're in War.
at least Gears is the 2nd most original title of the 3 you listed. Greek mythology + angry spartan.....

Yep.
Final Fantasy Versus 13 is also pretty bad. Can somebody explain to me why the word "versus" is in the title? I know it takes place within the FF13 universe, but why "versus"? I don't get it. Also, it just sounds stupid.
Oh yes, some of the other entries are Engrish or just poorly thought out but make sense given the game concept (woody and irritating stick) but these two make absolutely no ****ing sense @ all.
Its like they flipped through a dictionary at random and picked the first two words they landed on. I mean how do you Undiscover something Infinitely?

Infinite Undiscovery is hilariously bad. I'm not too fond of the title FF Versus 13, but Nomura named it that because he wanted his concept to be the 13th installment. Square went with the other concept, so he came up with Versus to challenge the 13 team lol. Square likes the idea apparently. To my knowledge, it doesn't take place in the FF13 universe.haze i would say. its not like we are hazing anything in the game or whatever that name should mean...

"Gears of War" is a phrase already though. I think the line goes something like "The gears of war grind ever on" or something like that, it's a phrase showing the endless horror of war... Quite an appropriate name for the series I think! Plus they wove the story around it, soldiers are called Gears in the game world. It's a pretty awesome title imo :D[QUOTE="fend_oblivion"]I wonder if we ever going to see the "final" Final Fantasy :P It'll be called "Finally Final Final Fantasy" ;)Final Fantasy. I love the series but the name...sounds...wrong.

Oh please only the old square would do something like that, don't be so foolish :| If anything they have to do the spinoffs first, after that they do the sequel. oh god who's the publisher? Some obscure Korean company. They actually didn't learn their lesson somehow and also made a game called Touch Man to Man. (Which somebody above posted)[QUOTE="Camden11"]
