I realize that Nintendo have most of the 8 & 16 bit games in controll on there virtual system. Playstation has there library of classic PS1 gaming coming soon on PSN to download. What do microsoft has besides some xbox games...NOTHING, retro or classic.

I think the solution to the problem would to work out a deal with sega to bring classic dreamcast and Saturn gaming to the xbox 360 Live subscription. It would be great to havethe vast library of sega hits from Shining Force to Fighting Vipers to Soul Caliber.

Plusgamers would have more of a drive to earn more gamerpoints.

What do you all think about this Idea?

Hmm, sounds nice but I honestly think it won't happen.
Would come to the Wii's Virtual Console before it would come to Xbox 360.

xbla gets older games? sonic, sotn, double dragon, streets of rage? thats just a few.

The thing is, vc games are just ports, xbla games are updated in some fashion and that may make older gamess harder to publish.

Early after the Dreamcast died Sega and MS signed an agreement to make a bunch of Sega titles Xbox exclusives. They collectively sold like ****. As of late the closest connection Sega seems to have is with Nintendo. Mario & Sonic have teamed up for two games now and likely more to come, the most retro Sega games can be found on the Virtual Console, and Sega is reviving some of its old franchises on the Wii, thus far NiGHTS, Samba de Amigo, and rumors of a new Burning Rangers game. So if they can figure out the storage issue it makes the most sense for them to go onto the VC. And they can get TurboCD games onto the VC so I'd imagine they can figure something out.

Yes I understand about vintage sega games but Im talking about early 32bit & 128bit era of gaming.

Is it even possible or profitable?

Jet Grind Radio, Shenmue maye they'd put #2 on there? Soul Calibur, Sonic Adventure, MvC 1 and 2, Street fighter alpha 3 maybe even rez and ikaruga... but those are coming to the arcade

I doubt it since they have their AGES series running, and NiGTHS: Into Dreams is next in line for remake.

It would be great if they did bought them, but I guess they must have more realistic views for them not to.

What they should bring to XBLA is stuff like Chu Chu Rocket, Outrigger, Virtual ON, Saturn Bomberman etc. stuff that was online already. They would work wonders with a strong online community.

I'd love to see Chu Chu rocket on XBLA, I think Crazy taxi would be a good XBLA title too.. I mean the game isn't really all that big so it wouldn't take up more than 500mb.

Xbox 360 owners have Panzer Dragoon Orta on the BC list. Why not put up Zwei and especially Saga up for download as well, so that they can play through the entire series? Maybe the original as well, though you can unlock that if you own Orta. The same could go for Shenmue and Shenmue II, as well as Jet Grind Radio and Jet Set Radio Future, though I haven't played any of those games. As far as the Wii VC goes, it would be nice indeed, except for one thing-512 MB of flash memory won't cut it for games stored on CDs. How are they going to let you download Panzer Dragoon Saga when it takes up FOUR DISCS? Hell, even ONE DISC probably holds a good 188 MB more than all of the Wii's flash storage. They'd need to support SDHC cards or USB drives in order for Saturn or Dreamcast games to fit. (Also, our resident Sega fan is here, and he brings up Virtual ON. That reminds me-are there any Virtuaroid sightings in Segagaga? They really should have brought a few of those out in the final showdown with DOGMA, unless they actually did and I didn't notice.)

They should sell a Dreamcast emulator so I could play my DC games on the 360 and if they some how add live features then that's even better.

No, there are no sightings of Virtal ON in SEGAGA outside that you can make the two games.

And like I said, I doubt they are going to release any of those as downloadables seeing as they have their SEGA AGES series running. They've already released many Saturn remakes like Panzer Dragoon, Fighting Vipers, Dynamite Deka, Last Bronx, Dragon Force, Virtua ON and the upcoming Nights into Dreams. I can tell they're going to release Zwei and Azel on their AGES line, along with the rest.

Well, Crazy Taxi 3 is already on the Xbox, and it's the best version of the game, since it has the 3 Crazy Taxi games, mini-games and you can use all of the characters on any city.

It wouldn't really make sense to release a plain version of Crazy Taxi.

And the games only cost $25. I would guess they could find some audience overseas specially for that price. But I guess they know better, for not bringing them.

Well, they did bring some over in the Sega Classics Collection now that I think about it, but that thing got the torn to pieces by reviewers. Still, a $20-30 remake of NiGHTS, Panzer Dragoon Saga, or Die Hard Arcade (Dynamite Cop) would be fantastic.

Didn't it got 8. something everywhere? and those are just emulated Mega Drive games, not this:

No, that's the Sega Genesis Collection. That got pretty high scores. The Sega Classics Collection featured ten of the Sega Ages remakes on one disc, but apparently the games were pretty crappy. 3.2 GS score, 5.2 GameRankings average. Still, I'm more than willing to forgive poor remakes of Bonanza Bros and Space Harrier if it means a quality remake of NiGHTS or PDS.

Funny that they're supposed to be the 10 first volumes and it doesn't have Vol.1 Phantasy Star and Vol.9 Gain Ground that were amazing.

I think the difference is quite obvious:
