Would titanfall get as much hate if it were PS exclusive?

I'm really not sure why Respawn isn't going multiplat with Titanfall. The game looks like ass, something along the lines of an iPad game, but even the iPad has way better resolution than "next gen" consoles. Surely releasing it on the PS4 also would boost profits, and we all know the PS4 would run it at better graphics settings. "Cloud Processing" is complete a joke, MS should have made the Xbone like just like OnLive with cloud streaming from remote servers. At least then it would have an excuse for running most of it's games at sub-1080p with low-med settings compared to PC. Titanfall isn't even on my radar for future purchases, I was underwhelmed to the point of laughing at the first Titanfall gameplay demo. Before watching the game's reveal, my friend was going on and on about the "Unlimited Power of the Cloud", then when Titanfall was revealed we both laughed our asses off and I mockingly said to him for the rest of the day stuff like "Wow that Cloud Power is just unbelievable, isn't it? How will the PS4 ever compete with THAT?!" Good times.

Because the gameplay of the majority of PS3 exclusives are run of the mill or below par. I've played quite a few of them and that has proven to be true and now the 10 year old in you is coming out. I love how defensive people get over GD1551's threads. According to Nintendo fanboys GD1551 is a PlayStation fanboy yet according to PS fanboys, GD is an Xbox fanboy(I don't think I've ever seen him hype a 360 game before :lol: ). Honestly amount of butt hurt his threads generate makes me think that he is completely correct.  TitanFall is my most anticipated "next-gen" game and I am f**king glad that it's coming to PC. But it baffles me to see people dismiss this game because it is a "COD-clone" or because it is MP only then go on to hype other COD-clones like Killzone: SF. :| Like really?

You know, it's one of those situations that is sadly exempliary of some of the worst qaulities of gamers today and of the internet and its asinine trends. Titanfall has nothing but great press, so it's become a target.

People love to shit on the things that are popular and meant to be of high quality because...well honestly I don't have a clue why. I'm not an ignorant buffoon. I like games that are good because they're good...and because I actually play them before I form an opinion about them.

A good general rule of thumb: if the internet talks bad about something (before it releases), it's likely pretty great. Don't trust the uninformed children with too much access to a keyboard.

So on the topic of at hand, I sadly think that no Titanfall would not get as much hate if it were a PS4 exclusive. Not for any reason that actually makes sense or is merited, but because the PS4 has all the buzz so people just follow what the internet tells them to. I think the game looks phenomenal, and for one simple reason: because video game.
