Would you be disappointed if LBP got a 9.0?

AAA in fantastic and I won't be disappointed what it gets anywhere.

I will however be disappointed if I don't like the game.

It's still an AAA score.

Also, TC, I do think that a 9.0 is just fine, but I expect an 8.5 from GS. They are brutal.

You may be right, LBP may be hyped 9.0, I honestly don't know. Like every upcoming game, there is usually 4-5 fans that overhype it, and it seems others just go, "whatever".

I would like to see a Hype thread, is all. I feel it will be fun game, and I loved many games that recieved 7's here at GS. I presonally see an 8.5 as it, though, at least from here. 91% at Gamerankings though.

I think that GS, will give it an 8.5, I just think that, but who knows. I've never said anything regarding a score bor LBP, and I'm sure I'm not alone. That 60gig is a good deal, and you won't have RROD worries like your old console, so that's good.

I'm happy with my 3rd 360, the Halo Model, with upgraded 120gig though.

Yea they can be. It seems that with all the hands-on that Gamespot has done with LBP, and the great things Gamespot has been saying about their playtime with the game, they are already looking to rate this game AAA. The only thing I am worried about, is that the difficulty of trying to get your ideas to actually come to life the way you want it in the game is gonna bite this game in the a$$. Hopefully Gamespot won't shun it and claim the game is tailored to only the super-creative.

at that time i'd be too busy playing the game, however 9.0 is a great score so why would anyone be disappointed..

I might be dissapointed if it gets a 7.5, but 8.0 or above is a good game in my opinion, "flop" be darned. I dont care about flop or AAA status anymore, after so many great games "flop" you kinda start to get over the whole concept and just play the darn games. lol.

No way, I don't care what the game gets, if it get's a 4.0 i'm buying it day one because of how incredible it looks, I honestly can't picture playing anything else for months other then Socom, (and i'll have to squeeze time for whatever games) but LBP and Socom will be my main 2 games for a LOOONG TIME.

I agree with this. Take away the good graphics and you get Wii shovelware gameplay. Jump over logs? Destroy bubbles? Dress up dolls? I don't get the hype.
