As a ps3 only user would you be mad or happy if final fantasy vs 13 went to 360?
slipknot0129
That's not a very good poll, where is the "Don't Care" option?
The only bad thing would be another horrible DELAY like we suffered in FFXIII's case. I wouldn't want a delay.
Would I be happy or mad if final fantasy vs 13 doesnt have towns? And is 95% linear? And doesnt have Japanese voices? Yes I would.
Well to be fair both games are handled by two different teams.[QUOTE="Console_Gamer93"]
I don't care. After XIII my expectations are really low anyways.

You expect something better from the Kingdom Hearts team? At least Nojima is writing the whole story this time and has written some great FF stories imo. In fact, the 2 best FF stories. But at the same time he's written the KH stories. Wtfff ...

FFXIII shouldn't have had Japanese voices. The resyncing of the lips was an outstanding gesture towards better paving the way for better translation. This wasn't the problem. The problem was the translator did a terrible job.

I love KH, bar nothing. Is the over-arching story hard to follow? Yes. Is it bad? No. It's a story where the players have to try and fill the gaps for themselves.
And I also have a man-crush on half of Organization XIII.

No I don't but I'm hoping. As for the stories Nojima and Wantabe played a bigger role when it came to most of the writing. Nomura just wrote the overall concept and plot (talking about KH1,2).[QUOTE="hakanakumono"]

You're talking to someone whose favorite PS2 JRPG series is Xenosaga. I don't have any problem with KH telling an overarching story where the player has to fill in the gaps for themselves. From what I've played of the series (which is basically KH1 up to the point where - SPOILERS - Sora *gasp* becomes a heartless), it was just terrible. Maybe I'm too quick to judge, but from what I played ... I just couldn't stand it.
where are these 22 people that said no? i want to see their faces. its either"yes, dont, care and indifferent"

I actually had the same impression. But that was before I played KH2. It's awesome. Not a very hard game, and bosses are almost entirely scripted, but one I'll always remember. Final Mix + is even better, to the point where I had played 17 hours in one sitting.

I said Nojima. ._.;
*Jason now puts on his glasses* lol I do not understand Nojima writing quality sometimes. He wrote FFVIII which is one of my personal favorites and then we have KH1,2 (never gave the spin off titles a go).Happy. I have a feeling it will possibly end up going to 360 since the 360 versiont of FF13 sold well.

The thing about the FFXIII's story is ... the basis of the scenario is great. The follow though is what's bad. And guess what, he wrote the basis of the scenario but not the story. So maybe Versus will be good, but it does look like it might be incredibly cheesy.

It may be me but it reminds me of a cheesy version of Romeo and Juliet for some reason.[QUOTE="hakanakumono"]

It may be me but it reminds me of a cheesy version of Romeo and Juliet for some reason.I'm worried it'll take itself a little to seriously and end up seeming over dramatic and pretentious. I don't like to use the word "pretentious" because it's also used to describe games that take themselves seriously, yet not without good reason (such as Xenogears). But I'm not so sure about Versus.
Why only two options?
As a 360 owner even I don't care, the series has sadly sailed down the forica...

I guess we'll just have to wait and see but I hope that isn't the case.Don't really care, I'll be able to play it whether it does or it doesn't. It's good for 360 owners if it does though I guess. I'm still thinking it won't but it's basically Nomura vs Wada I guess.
Whats there to be mad about we can still play it.genarollif they remove half of the game in order to port it to xbox ....
Have a little faith in the product I say, if SE said it's exclusive then they should stick to it, the fans will respond accordingly. Now if you're going flip-flop between Exclusive and Multiplat the product may suffer and at the end of the day it's just annoying. I have nothing against FFV13 being ported to the 360 a few months later but the game should stay exclusive as of now. That's where SE strengths ly, in exclusive development. Test the waters with it and if it doesn't work out then by all mean port it for a bigger user base. Right now I think it's best they stick to their words with exclusivity, god knows how they have fallen this gen due to multiplat development, and trying to cater to the West. It's not about what audience you cater to, it's about making great games and somewhere along the line SE forgot that.Swift_Boss_A
Agreed!

Why would they have to remove half of a game to port it to the xbox? The only thing that takes up disc space is sound and movies.
I would not be mad cause it would be on the 360 since i own both but i would be mad that it would be delayed even more

ive heard they did that on FF13 (normal) , not sure if its really true tho , i dont care if it will be multiplat as long as i get the full experience on ps3[QUOTE="NubTub_of_Win"]
They'd dumb it down :(
PAL360
Oh...i see that´s the new cool excuse! Fair enough :)
It's been the trend all gen long. PS3 exclusives are always pushing the console to it's limits, add the 360 to the mix and we get dumbed down games.I think they would lose a lot of good faith with their fanbase if Vs XIII has a lot of the same issues that XIII had (linearity and such). Whether it is true or not, the 360 will be scapegoated for each and every little thing the FF fans dislike about the game. I think, for the benefit of the series, it would be very wise to keep it exclusive to the PS3 (or at least timed exclusive with no announcement of the 360 version before launch).
A very large portion of the FF fanbase is real upset at the way XIII was handled and the 360 versions sales of that title seem to suggest that the vast majority of the FF gamers are already on the PS3 side of ye Console War.

Especially considering multiplats like RDR and what we have seen of Rage and Crysis2 on 360, already surpass them.
