Poll Would you buy No Man's Sky if it were dropped to $20? (87 votes)

Yes 25%
No 75%

Well? Price is the only thing holding me back regardless of the shit storm that is No Man's Sky, it should have been that cost from the onset, is that what's holding you back?

I'd probably fly around for a couple of hours, look at weird shit, and call it done. So 5 bucks would work for me.

IMO it's worth $20 if it is your type of game. People trash it because of the lies fiasco and/or it isn't their type of game to begin with

I for one like No Man's Sky to begin with despite the major flaws and mishandling by Sean Murray's stupidity, I thought it was a cool relaxing game and was it worth $60? To some, I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy it full price until a sale picks up but I do agree with everyone that NMS should have been price $20 and everyone would have giving it a pass.

I fully intend to pick it up at some point, probably 10 or 15 euro would be the max I'd pay though.

I'd expect it to be a pretty, relaxing, shallow exploration game that I'd enjoy for a few hours, then move on. Like Endless Ocean on the Wii.

It's sad that hype destroyed it. If it released as an indie sleeper game it would have been loved for what it was I reckon. Albeit, would have had to be a lot cheaper than 60!

The game can be addictive if the idea of flying around and looking at weird shit appeals to you. There is an endless amount of weird shit to look at and it can be a rather interesting albeit too bare bones experience as a whole. The foundation is very solid and the art style is great. I hope a bigger studio takes the concept and runs with it in the future. Definitely worth $20 if it is your kind of game concept.

I'd be interested in trying it out for $20. Always said the price was the biggest concern for me. Seems like a game best used as a time waster, which I really enjoy, just wasn't willing to pay AAA pricing for an indie title.

You can already find it for cheaper, and no I still haven't bought it although I was excited for it prior to releasing.

i don't recommend anyone buying this even for 20 dollars.

For 10 dollars or less i think its worth a try, but there is nothing to do in this game after a couple hours unless you like to jump to different planets looking for unique things but the problem is, all the planets look almost the same, as do the creatures and plant life.

If you get the PC version there are mods that can give you a bit more entertainment and make the game less grindy since you can give yourself whatever you want to make the game more fun.
