Not a chance. It would have to an insanely good launch line-up and features that make it a must own. Otherwise I would just do what I did with the PS3 and wait for the price to drop. (I seriously wanted to spit in Sony's face for th whole $599 crap...ew)
Going off what the Wii and 3DS were priced at when they were released, I'm going to speculate that they won't stick anything higher than a $350 price tag on it. Very hard for me to believe Nintendo would try to sell anything for over $400 so I don't think we ever have to worry about shelling out half a grand at launch. A lesson was learned from the PS3 launch debacle, I pray.
Honestly there isn't really any price they could charge that I wouldn't pay. I have no problem saying that. That's how much I love Nintendo and have faith in their new product and their return to the hardcore.
Depends on what the system has to offer :/ But to answer that we're missing a lot of info :S But yes, I can see myself paying $500 for it even though I have some personal probs with Nintendo Switzerland ^^
