Lets say a Sega console was released on par with the Xbox 360 and it came standard with a 30 gig HDD (Sega always went a diff road) Assuming it used a DVD9 format and sported almost as good tech specs...would you buy a new Sega for $350.00?

They don't make consoles I know but hey.....imagine

Games:

Shenmue 3

Sonic Adventure 3

Resident Evil 5

Phantasy Star NEXT

EA Sports Games

Gundam

Far Cry Evolution

Prey

Depends. If they had good games, original or otherwise (I'd LOVE to see some of their old franchises revived properly, as well as continuing some of their current successes), I'd be there in an instant. Especially if they decided to make Sonic like the old days, BEFORE it became angsty, and it was just 'Robotnik (not Eggman. This is important.) is a bad dude who turns animals into robots. Jump on things and run fast.'

Seeing as they just announced the first Sonic/Mario game though, I don't think it's likely they'll try to strike out on their own again, at least not for a while. :(

No. Sega just doesn't make as many good games as they used to.
