I think what we saw could be perfectly done on current game consoles. It looks on par with The Last of Us and Beyond.kuraimenNow you're just trolling.

Nah, Spike interviewed the guy that shown ZombieU during Nintendo's conference, he said it was running on a PC at the time of the demo and that it's coming out for PC, PS3 and 360.
I think what we saw could be perfectly done on current game consoles. It looks on par with The Last of Us and Beyond.kuraimenDon't kid yourself. It's open world, and it looks close to TLoU which is linear. That's a feat that is no way possible on 6 or 7 year old hardware.

I'm really concerned for Cows. The Last of Us looks great for a current-gen game but Watch Dogs is simply in a league of its own. That gameplay video showcases a visual quality that is not attainable on current-gen, seven-year-old console hardware.

It's not the visually quality it's everything that is going on you dope, the ai of the people walking the street was the very impressive, the graphics for an open world game were excellent, stop acting like you are a dev u sound moronic, the game is slated for 360/ps3 and pc confirmed by the dev u bubbling fool[QUOTE="princeofshapeir"][QUOTE="kuraimen"] Nope it did. The game looks beautiful and the visuals from the demo are representative of how it will look on PC. I can only imagine that it will be severely pared down on current-gen consoles, considering it's open-world.Getting it for PC

Me too, hopefully I can play it at 25x16 but I dunno if my system could handle it, those graphics look amazing!

I wouldn´t rather any of those because I will get it on the PC,and considering the PC footage we saw,if that game is released in the current gen consoles the difference to the PC version will be massive,so I wouldn´t even bother with a PS3 or 360 version of that game.

they did an article analyzing the game already? Link please!
They did an analysis of Beyond but haven't seen anything about Watch Dog yet. But anyway, DF about Beyond:
"The overall impression is that Beyond looks to be setting a new standard for what is possible on current-generation consoles. In many ways it looks too good to be true, to the point where quite rightly you may be asking if this is real, and if so, what compromises are in effect?"
Since I have a gaming PC, then I don't think it matters as long as it can look that amazing. This generation the jacket alone probably couldn't possible on a 360 or PS3 without some witch magic, its like they rendered an entire cow, virtually skinned it and installed a tanning processor for that leather jacket. My God is was beautiful.
But yeah, if it came out current gen I'd get it for PC and hope I could get such quality, next gen it would be a safe bet to get it on consoles or still, PC if I don't get a console yet.
Honestly for me it doesn't matter, next gen I just have a much higher chance of getting it on consoles to see how well they make this game look. If they can make it look that great on current consoles then that's worth a look, but there's now way this game wasn't being played on a GTX 690 with all the trimmings on said rig they were using.
It's releasing on the PS3/360, so they must be able to run it fine.meetroid8Honestly don't know howwww the ai is absolutely amazing
the difference between the console and PC version will most likely just be physics, DOF & character models, they will be removed/downgraded on the console versions
look at Mafia 2/Metro 2033 on PC and consoles, difference like that

Yeah its not like amazing AI is really something affected by technological progress.
Half-Life came out in 1998, but I'm pretty sure the human enemies there have at least 30 IQ points more then any of the Koreans in 2007 graphics king Crysis.

HaloinventedFPS
Utter BS.
Lighting, textures, anti-aliasing, anisotropic filtering, mesh complexity ALL will also be severly affected on the consoles. When was the last console game that had any significant amout of dynamic lighting? Even for the Witcher 2, which doesn't look anythign like this game in terms of lighting, the dynamic lighting had to be cut down on the xbox.
Consoles can barley handle a couple of dynamic lights/shadows. PC's runing DX11 can run THOUSANDS of dynamic lights.
Basically the ONLY platform where the game will run like it did on the demo is on PC.
