Would you support dropping Destructoid off of Metacritic?

I've heard people say that Destructoid should be dropped from Metacritic/GR and I'm just wondering if people would support the move.

They have a lack of professionalism that makes it so that I wouldn't mind, but I wouldn't actively advocate for it to be dropped off.

Thoughts?

In most cases, it wouldn't. I just wonder if people would support it on principle.

I would support dropping a LOT of the sites/mags that Metacritic uses.

What's wrong with Destructoid? They can't be worse than Onion AV Club. I read one of their reviews and it was far worse than a review I could have done

There are many reasons, but the ones stands out most to me is that they will admit several flaws of a game and then slap a 10 on it as if they are not taking their job particularly seriously.

Secondly, some of the reviews read like angry GS user reviews.

You have a point. Onion AV Club is far worse than any Destructoid review.

I just referenced Destruction since it gets far more attention here.

I support dropping Destructoid, period. And Metacritic, for that matter.

GameSpot admitted a couple very minor flaws in the case of GTA IV. They never said that 10 games were perfect.

Destructoid admits major/numerous flaws and then slaps a 10 onto the game.

alot of gamespot reviews makes me think we should drop it :o

I would support dropping Destructoid off on MC on only all Jim Sterling reviews, but no one else.

Metacritic literally makes up scores for reviews that don't assign one.

There have been occasions where they've given games that score something like 3/10 on average a 10/10 just for the lulz.

How do they lack professionalism? They review games based on what they personally think of them, isnt that what every reviewer does? With that logic, EVERY site/magazine should be dropped from Metacritic.
