I beleive the TC was refering more to "graphics gameplay online weapons fun intensity" than sales. Some companies would kill to have a game like Psychonauts that was ace and didn't sell at all well but owned on every other level.

The TC is obviously stating that Bungie as a company got owned by IW because apperently the TC is of the opinion that CoD4 is > halo 3.

Now, regardless of which game is better, BUNGIE AS A COMPANY DOES NOT GIVE A **** BECAUSE HALO 3 WILL DESTROY COD4 IN SALES.

Sorry, I must have read the TC's post and not just the title. I clearly read too far in to what was actually being said. I don't actually see the word sales in the opening post yet you persist in saying that sales that will not rock Bungie. Fair enough the word "everything" suceeded my quote but I was referring to graphics gameplay etc elements that supposedly make a game good.

Technically, Bungie and IW would care about me and all the other consumers who bought their games because that is how they make their money :)

Heck, if any console FPS this holiday will compete with Halo 3 it will be COD 4. It won't sell as much, duh its Halo, but its a competitor and will certainly make a bundle as with the last 3 CODs made under IW (good or bad).

How has bungie been rocked even if IW has made the better game, if that result is not shown in sales?

Look all im saying is no company can own another company directly unless game x outsells game y.

I thought the graphics in COD3 look very comparable to the graphics in COD4. And why shouldn't they? They were released within a short time of eachother. The stories are vastly different and the gameplay differs marginally so I wouldn't exactly call them the same game but they are very similar.

true, but i love IW's style more. Their gameplay mixed with cinematics is incredible. Plus unlocking weapons, game modes, perks, etc is a brilliant idea

Check this out also my freind who just got back from 2 tours in Iraq. Came over today and i was like dude you got to check this out becuase he likes games and has a 360 also. And when i showed him the online and he watche me for about a 1/2 hour playing online. He was just like WOW this is the most AMAZING game i have ever seen .And he likes war games . He was just like this is the most amazing online shooter i have ever seen and i'll be picking this up right now i'll be back in 15 mins no **** he left and when and got a copy he had to have it he thoughtit was that good.

I'm actually pretty shocked that them slapping a fresh coat of paint on the COD3 engine has turned into such a big deal, The gameplay is identical to COD3 without the qte's and here you guys are all acting like it's the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Great title and all but come on folk's get real, co-op should be a standard feature by now.

COD4's multiplayer will die out after a while. COD2's multiplayer was out done by PDZ yes i said PDZ. I played with way more people on PDZ than I did with COD2. COD3's multiplayer was not that good yet people said the same thing that you are saying now. What happened? People didn't care. Halo 2 and Gears of War were the multiplayer kings. Halo 3 is the more popular game. Halo 3 will still be played by the millions of people years from now. I think COD4 is a great game but so is Halo 3. Saying that Bungie got rocked really shows how childish you are.

IW did Allied Assault, CoD and CoD 2. Just recently CoD 4.

AA and CoD (plus UO) were good. CoD 2 was still pretty good, but I can't say anything on CoD 4. But Zeliard said it's like a Michael Bay film. That I don't like.

But honestly I thought COD1, CODUO, had better SPs than Halo CE - and Marathon imo.
There were so many exellent moments and scripted sequences in those games, it made much more of an impression on me.

As for COD4 yea I cant say much, but from what I have seen, and read off cynical sites, the SP is actually very good....

Thankfully it seems to have those 'moments' and intensity that made CoD1 and UO so good.
COD 2 and 3 - meh.

weapons-even
gameplay- Halo 3
Single Player- Halo 3(come on even hermits have to admit the story for Halo 3 is better than COD 4 and they hate Halo)
Multiplayer- Even, both have some serious bright spots
Online- Halo 3(Forge, saved films, community its all there(i mean the whole bungie.net thing when i say community) Halo 3s online on consoles is unmatched.
Graphics Call of Duty 4
Sales- Halo 3
