I didn't like the GW storyline. They just dropped the Charr invasion. Then they killed Rurik and brought him back and made some moderately interesting story about some evil warlock. World of Warcraft has more of a story than perhaps any other game I have ever played. It is the most epic storyline in all of video games. The only game that I have ever played with a storyline even slightly close to Warcraft's was HL. Which is completely different.

The Warcraft franchise has perhaps the greatest storyline ever. Look it up. Wikipedia is your friend. Heck, the freaking manual for WCIII was packed with lore.
My roomate at college plays at least 16 hours a day and no longer goes to class. Freshman year, when the game came out, he skipped the last 2 weeks of classes, got a 1.5 GPA for the semester and went on academic probation. Last year he got worse as he played at least 16 hours a day, rarely went to class and got probably a 2.5, still on AP. This year, same story, more pathetic. He doesn't ever come out of the room and socialize. It is rediculous. I just feel bad for him because we pay 32000 a year to come here and he is wasting every cent. I guess he is just like the drunks who sit around and get wasted everynight and fail their classes. I am too busy to do either lol.Everytime i encounter someone on WOW, its a student, a BS !

ya but just by playing the game itself without reading any books or anything, it's hard to tell that there is one.

I can't just stand by and let them say terms like "lolz" and "doood." It's just not right!my sister had hooked on phonics, they said that sometimes 'w' can be a vowel

No it isn't. I watched Grom Hellscream die in an FMV and it was perhaps the most tragic death in all of video games. World of Warcraft continues the storyline via quests. You don't have to read, but if you actually read the quests you can uncover a lot of story.
