Yeah, more variety in games wouldn't hurt. PDZ is a good example with innovative multi-player modes like Infection and actual effort and work put into the amazing futurustic envrinoments. But these days. all everybody wants is the same ugly, dark maps and the same deathmatch crap over and over again. I have friends on Live and MSN that play COD 4 and WAW non-stop. They never play any other games. It's pathetic.

im guessing you didnt watch the video. They were pretty much right, resistances multiplayer is better than gears, gears online is simple overall, and resistances is just a much more robust online experience. Â

Do you got anything better to do then attack anything on PS3?Sales mean nothing for this thread and i also agree with ign,Resistances 2 online just makes the game much more enjoyable to play compared to Gears.Attacking R2's sales will only make you look like a fool in the future,R1 sold less on launch then R2 and went on to sell a few million,R2 will probabley do the same,the series has legs its not like Gears or Fable which sell great during launch window and completely fall off.I said this view a long time ago PS3 games seem to have legs while Xbox360 games have great launches and fall off.
A great game won't always sell the best. Take Ratchet and Clank, which has high reviews was outsold by Too Human. I don't want to start a war but the fact is just because a game is better does NOT mean it will have better sales. just look at all those lost gems over the years. The fact is the 360 does have more users, and because its a cheaper console, more casual users. This means more people will by the game because it sounds good. Personally, I do my research so I pick up games Like Ratchet, Gears, and R2 instead of Too Human and Lair.

Or is that too much work for you? all i see are links to VGchartz, with a game that has only been released in NA. this means that that the install base is around 5-6 million. so its a misrepresentation of facts (if you can even call them that, due to no official sales numbers). and besides, gears was a sequel to a multi million competition killiing blockbuster...what did people really expect? people that dont even really like gears buy gears. but why are we even talking about sales? were talking about the 2 game's quality
