It looks like they are blind or something and they move like they got their undies on too tight

lol people make me laugh. from a trailer you can see the entire game. what if that was the first level then what you want to die a hundred times before getting use of the controls. what if the ai was dumb because sometimes when people show there games they make the ai dumb because it makes it easer to show it. what if it was a training level were it shows you how to control or use the camoflage ect. ow ya i forgot you said trailer not demo that you have played:roll:GARRYTH

I don't know how any "gamer" can watch that video and tell me that don't look like total crap. I wish people would just be honest about stuff in this forum. I may like 360 games and some PC games but I sure as hell would tell people when a game looks as bad as this

The ai displayed looks worse than that of a 10 year-old pc games. Im starting to think that this game will flop.

MGS4 was only annouced in 2005 , If that's all Kojima can do in that amount of time he must be the worse developer in gaming

The A.I is fine, that issue is in the design of the game. Mostly because Snake has a big life bar and takes alot og damage, us do see the A.I. take cover and melee Snake, maybe they don't run away but they are supposed to be bad ass PM soldiers. Compared to a gam elike Splinter Cell you take 3-4 hits and you are dead. In MGS when you select harder difficulties you life bar is smaller so that's going to be good which will make people try and hide more since you can die eaiser.Anoch20

Your just as bad as him, becuase your making the assumption that it is the beginning of the game.. IMO I am pretty concerned witht his and hope that there is a real reason why the AI is that horrible.. But yeah unfortantly only speculation can be given to this game trailer because it really specifies nothing..

I think Metal Gear Solid has proven itself long ago. It has established a firm precedent of offering a great gaming experience. I will take evidence like that over whiny opinions based off a gameplay clip from a game you've never personally laid hands on.

they came from behind snake. they were shooting yet came into melee range of him. sorry but that's bad AI anyway you look at it. also the fact that they didn't even melee remotely well made it look worse.
