Wow, ninja gaiden really is one of the best action games ever

i used to play the old nes ng games back in the day, but i somehow missed out on ng when it first came out on the xbox

i heard it was great, but for some reason i just kept putting off playing it

anyway, i just dl'ed ngb off of xbl today, and i gotta say, it really is one of the best action games ever. i havent gotten very far into it yet, but from what ive played, its been awesome

and im rather glad to see that the difficulty somewhat lives up to the hype. thus far, its not that hard but i get the feeling that its going to very soon

I consider NG:B to be the greatest action game of all time.

It really is that good.

Once you beat it, you will feel a great sense of accomplishment, and brotherhood with all other NG players.

i actually never beat dmc1. but going by the first few levels of that and the few levels of ng i played, id say that ng is a tiny bit harder

Just wait till you beat it u'll have the feeling as if u'd done somethin amazing. Plus u get so much better if u keep playin. Best action game ever.

so true, wait until you get to the level 7 boss for the first time. I hated that boss for so long.

Where are you in it?

Ninja Gaiden on the Master System was FAR superior to Ninja Gaiden on the NES and even Ninja Gaiden 2/3 on the NES (Thought the master system game came out after NG3).

It's a completley different game wherin you battle the dark shogun to get back some scroll. It is win, and I suggest you all go out and play it. (Its a PAL exclusive).

tc have you ever played the 1988 ninja gaiden arcade game? i thought the game was better compare to the ninja gaiden trilogy games on snes. if you collect all 50 golden scarabs on normal mode you can unlock it.

I mean its like way to hard. I remember playing Sigma (which is Essentially NG Black) and I remember it took me forever to get past Alma. Then I just got stuck on one part and quit playing it. I hope they down the difficulty in NG 2.

I've finished Ninja Gaiden several times and I still want to pick it up and play to this day.
I'm pretty sure you'll feel the same way when you'll finally get to the end =D

Personally I love NG, but I just like DMC style better I see too much of Ninjas on a daily basis, Demon Hunters suit my style more.

Yep Ninja Gaiden is really fantastic. Its like you feel rewarded for every enemy you kill because you really have to use some kind of technique within the button mashing. The more you get into the game the more abilities you will receive and some of these abilities are mind blowing.

I can not wait for NG2 too!

I mean its like way to hard. I remember playing Sigma (which is Essentially NG Black) and I remember it took me forever to get past Alma. Then I just got stuck on one part and quit playing it. I hope they down the difficulty in NG 2.

they are going to have a mode for ppl that had hard time playing NG that will be easier than ninja dog called path of the acolyte and will have mode/s that will be challenging for NG veterans.

You're nuts. I bought it the other day, I think I'm on stage 5. Theres no tutorial (good idea). It is ****ing hard. Maybe I'm just not playing it right? The camera is frustrating, and also the fact that enemies re spawn if you look down an alley or in a crevice. Weak. Kinda wished I'd bought Pirates now lol...

God of War 1 & 2 was much more fun IMO.

sigma in a way is easier compare to ngb, but still no walk in the park as you say.

People always say NG requires more skill, yet when playing Sigma I found myself repeating the aerial dash attack over and over.

NG:B was awsome, im always tempted to run through sigma on PS3 but il jus get NG2 when it hits.ajames_123

if you are a huge fan of ninja gaiden i say its worth playing. pretty much the same along with few added features and some changes here and there on story mode and mission mode.

Considering how hard it was just on normal I'm going to have to say no thanks.

There is a point where a game is challenging and then there is another point where a game makes me want to gouge my eyes out. Ninja Gaidens difficulty successfully acheived that.

I'm not bashing NG, just prefered GOW. The style, the setting, the charaters and voice acting, the scale, the camera, the puzzles and yes, the difficulty.
