WOW OMG IGN said MGS4 deserves an 11 instead of 10/10!

All when they got good scores on IGN, but now that a PS3 gets an exclusive title that is better than All of those, suddenly "IGN don't count 1001101!!!".

I can certainly see MGS4 getting an 8.5 here. lol. Nothing to do with Gamespot, I just can see it happening.

Are you serious? Gamespot is the biggest joke of all game critics to date. Have you read their material? They are being written by 7th grade challenge english students.

Why do you think Gamespot never reviews early anymore? No one wants them. Hell, they haven't even reviewed one of the biggest games of the generation yet -- and it's already been released.

I knew their reviews had gotten pretty bad over the years. But I didn't know they were doin' that. And I wondered why their reviews were always later than the others. But I usually agree with IGN's reviews. And in this particular one, I agree too.

They just scored it high because the game is so epic (in presentation and story) and I think they let some negative issues with the game slide.

Just how GeOW got rated waaay high for having nice graphics and chainsaw, even though the game felt like it was half finished.

I agree with this, I can name one thign right off the top of my head, body hit detection. Shoot them in teh leg, or shoulder, they don't move, no recoil or anything. Lots of games have that already.

After playing the game for about 3 hours, its definetly worth a 10. Why are Lemmings in such Damage Control Mode?

I have not formed an opinion of the game yet as I will not start playing until next week but after playing a game for only three hours, even if you think it is awesome so far, there is no way you can make a statement like that.

It is so absurd that gamers will play a tiny fraction of a game an think they can come to any conclusion, good or bad.

There have been a lot of games I thought were awesome after three hours and by the end it was not so awesome, and vise verse.

Well I for one have always gone by IGN reviews, cept for a few which I think they screwed up on IE: Jade of Empire, KH2, Halo 3 and Folklore. But other than those IGN has done really good at reviewing.

Also Judging by all the 10's MGS4 has gotten already I highly doubt that it's like that WWE on the Xbox mishap again.

I am glad that the PS3 has gotten another Excellent title, this time better than most before. :D
