The PSP would become a success if it had done the two things people said it was going to do.

1) make UMD a popular format

2) kill (or at least out sell) the DS

it has done neither. Sony had goals and they didn't to reach them. That is the definition of "failure".

Funny because Nintendo has been even more successful since PSP entered the market. PSP isnt hurting the DS. DS expanded the market.

dude psp is a great handheld.. not widely known to everyone or price friendly but a good one though. if someone offer me a ds or a psp id take a psp any time any day.
