The idea that the average PC gamer is a hardcore gamers is as much a fallacy as the idea that most console gamers are hardcore gamers. Most gamers are casual, on all the platforms, and it is not the casuals who are complaining about the dedicated servers.[QUOTE="SpruceCaboose"][QUOTE="MajorGamer531"]
They release the game on the PC, than PC gamers are a group of their consumers. And you are quite naive if you think they are a small group. Not only are they a good sized group, but PC Gamers tend to hang their hat on one game for years, which means lots of DLC content that will be bought long after people on console stop caring and move on to the next Fad/hype game. Also the moding done by PC Gamers leads to innovations in the industry. The sprint function for example was first developed in a mod.

I don't recall ever mentioning anything about PC gamers being hardcore/ more hardcore.
You seem to be implying that all PC gamers care about this dedicated server mess. Casual gamers, who are the majority in gaming, are not the ones who care about this. It is the core gamers who care about dedicated servers. Casuals often don't have any clue what a server is or why they would want a dedicated one. I am willing to bet MW2 sells well on PC, even with the "slighted" PC gamers refusing to buy it (and then buying it/pirating it since they still want to play it, even though they won't admit it).
