Where are you reading that it might loose HAZE? I've never seen anything stating that it has the possibility of loosing it. And once again you're not listening to me; do I have to scream what I say in your face to get an idea through your thick skull? People are going to want Halo. Its the one of the most popular franchises in video game history. When this game launches that is what the majority of 360 game sales are going to be for a few weeks. Are you staying with me? HAZE and UT3 would be overshadowed by Halo 3 because most people don't want to spend a ton of money on games within a few weeks (Getting all three would cost at least $180). I'm not saying Halo is going to rule, I'm saying that its popular. To be honest, when people say stuff like that it sounds like they're saying blah, blah, blah to me too. But its a matter of popularity, not quality. Its like if you offer a group of children the chance to watch a new Spongebob movie or Pan's Labyrinth... which one do you think they're going to pick? For that group, Spongebob would be more appealing. Same applies to here. If you offered most 360 owners Halo 3 (a franchize that a lot of people bought an xbox for) or UT3, which do you think would be the most popular decision? Besides me and some other sane people, Halo 3 would get picked the most.
I'm not hyping Halo 3, it is a fact that it the franchise has overshadowed games in the past. It is a fact that many people won't buy 3 different games at once. It is a fact that Halo is one of the most popular franchises of all time. And it is a fact that many people who own a 360 would choose Halo 3 over UT3 or HAZE. The popularity of this game is powerful enough to actually make that change because publishers want to get the most profit out of their game. If they go head to head with a franchise with a massive following compared to theirs, they're not going to profit nearly as much as they could if they waited until the storm from the huge seller dies down because people, by the time they release it, will want a new game. Its common sense. Nowhere in any of my posts do I hype it. Hyping the game would be talking about how great it is/looks/is gonna be. My beliefes regarding the Halo series are unflattering. Honestly, don't reply unless you actually read my post this time.
I am not just saying it to you entirely I AM SAYING IT TO EVERYONE else who uses halo as an excuse for everything. You may not use it as an excuse but other fans are. Even if what you are saying is true than why did other games are released WITH HALO 3? You can get lost odyssey, bioshock, and Halo3 THATS $180 dollars I DON'T see those game being delayed? And if it is true than halo is destroying the x 360 because everyone this fall is gonna buy a halo 3 and not any other game? THAT IS WHAT YOUR SAYING don't deny it.
