Well if people buy halo3 will they have money to buy the other games? Halo 3 can outsell 2 games but the entire fall lineup of the ps3 will outsell the xbox 360 falls line up.

Well first I am just gonna say this is my opinion before anyone starts bashing me that I am saying its fact. Well put it this way everyone aka x360 fans are saying they are gonna get a halo 3. What you guys been telling me is if they choose between halo3 and other games their gonna buy a halo 3. Which means that the other games won't sell. For the ps3 they don't have one game that is over hype as much as the other except killzone but thats coming out in 2008. Meaning the other games will sell. You're still not listening to me. First of all, Lost Odyssey, and Bioshock aren't going to be released in the same time frame as Halo 3. In fact, both of them are going to be released before it. UT3 and HAZE are going to be released in the same time frame as Halo 3 but for PS3. BTW, the time frame is targeted at Holiday shopping. Once again, I'm not saying that people are only going to buy Halo 3 after its released and then thats all. You're an idiot if thats what you think I'm saying. The first killzone had amazing graphics for the console it was on too, but that didn't make it a good game by any means. Also, Sony's online service is nowhere near as good as Live is. It's not like Live is even that expensive, its only $50 a year.

The thing is that people don't save money like that when they have to pay bills. Not everyone lives with their parents or some really generous person who doesn't make them pay for anything. Also, $180 is a lot to spend in one day on videogames and at the same time, who would buy three shooters at once? Many people would like to enjoy a game before playing another one. No console shooter will ever be anything compared to PC and that includes Killzone. Consoles = JV while PC = Varsity when it comes to the FPS arena.

Thats because, obviously, the publisher thinks that COD4 can compete with Halo 3. I can tell you now that if COD4 were released earlier by a few weeks, or later by a few weeks, COD4s sales will do much better at the start. Completely agreed, which is one reason I'm excited to see how games like UT3, Killzone and more importantly (imo) Haze turn out.

Haze is being developed from FRD so I'm expecting big things in the MP department.

Halo 3 should be fantastic too, but like you said, it's being feared by other developers, so it's going to push them to make their games amazing.
