Jrps by a landslide, outside of ME4 WRPG's don't got jack ****

I think I'm looking forward to more JRPGs for next year, but WRPGs are looking good also. I have doubts that ME4 will actually release in 2016.
JRPGs win. Persona 5, FFXV, SMTXFE, Fire Emblem Fates, FF7:R, Bravely Second, etc. etc. etc.
You say that like those games are supposed to be good.
I think it's somewhat equal.
I'm more excited for Dark Souls 3 and Divinity: OS 2 more than anything else on that list. So I'm pretty torn.
There's alot of RPGs that have the potential to really suck despite the hype.
But I'm more confident about JRPGs where I'm sure Dark Souls 3, Persona 5 and Fire Emblem: Fates will be good.
The games I'm looking forward to most are: Hyper Light Drifter and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, which are WRPGs. Edit: Oh and Pit People, that game is looking rad.
Also, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Banner Saga 2 and M&B: Bannerlord I think are next year which could be great.
Is HZD really a WRPG?
Guerilla Games: The company is based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and Cambridge, UK.
I like all kinds of RPGs.

What I meant was: is it really going to be an RPG in general? Was kinda under the impression it is going to be an open world action game, but if it is an RPG, all the better.
I want to go with JRPG, because i really want FF XV to be great.
But my brain is telling me to beware of the Square games, and that WRPG is the safer choice. Mass Effect and Deus Ex are sure to be spectacular. Can Dark Souls III even live up to Bloodborne? Cyberpunk 2077 is also one of my most anticipated games period, and it's not on this list (I assume it's 2017 or later).
Persona V and Scalebound are the wildcard. I could see them both being great, but they need to be really great to make this even a discussion. I expect Persona V will be, but I'm not yet sold on Scalebound.
Dark Souls III ? Final Fantasy XV ? Persona V ? In terms of anticipation, they obliterate wRPG's. AS much as I liked the Mass Effect games...and absolutely loved Deus Ex Human Revolution.... Andromeda and Mankind Divided both have potential but I'm always skeptical about BioWare games and I always feel uncertain when it comes to Eidos games.
From Software is consistent plus they have a formula that absolutely needs to stay the same in the games they are creating at the moment. This means that they have a slim chance of messing up.
JRPGs
We all know who the true winners are though. PS4 owners.
JRPGs
I doubt the west will see these in 2016.
Before I would have said the same of FFXV, but looks like that might be a summer release in Japan going by their recent survey.
knowing how crappy EA games lately (DA:I, BF Hardline, Battleflops, NFS), I don't expecting much for the new Mass Effect. Dark Souls 3 is enough for me to choose Jrpg.

Yep, it's an RPG.
