So Mcdonalds started out on brand recognition? there is a point in time where they did something to be recognized, they were the cheapest, fastest place to go, and therefore became a brand, please in all these cases with brand recognition would they be there today if there cheeseburger or couches cost more than the competiton, it's economics low price = more sales = over time more money created.
Lets see Mcdonalds makes a new cheeseburger similar to the whoper at BK would they dare sell it for more than the Whoper? No.
anyways it seems like this wall is going nowhere fast, my point is The price is a big reason as to why the Wii sells so much, brand recognition can't be that large for the Wii because.
The gamecube was a bomb many people, and game sights mocked the revolution before it was released as the Wii, there are many people *you for one* Who know Nintendo produces gem games, and whatnot. You can't deny the price is helping the Wii.
If there are so many other things going for the Wii if we priced the PS3, and 360 high end models in the same price range as the wii, you are saying the Wii would still outsell them? I'd really like to see that...
