X360 > PS3 : True or False?

false in my eyes. the ps3 got whatever the 360 got but its better and more powerful faster look better more hardcore, just better than the 360, matter of fact the ps3 is the best system this gen in my eyes thats true

But PS3> 360 is false as well. They both have their strengths and weaknesses.

After reaching almost the end of this generation. Is it safe to assume X360 is the better console of the two (overall)?

here are some of X360 achievements so far:

1- Standarized console online experience

2- Dethroned the PS brand dominance

3- Both high profile and indie devs prefer the platform.

4- More successful and higher ranked hardcore games.

5- More successful casual model.

what do you guys think?

That's a good point, but I think that there are other considerations as well. It still comes down to preferrence. I mean, one console might have more exclusives than another, but unless those particular exclusives appeal to the individual in question it really doesn't matter. In other words, a person might prefer the 5 exclusives on console A over the 9 exclusives on console B. Then of course there are also things like controller preference, interface differences, feature sets, and online services to consider.

For me it is PS3>360. I have no reason at all to get a 360. Every game it has that I care to play except maybe 3-4 (and that's not enough to warrent a 360 purchase) is also on the PS3 and/or PC.

I like ppl more on PS3 but MyOnline Connectiionis always better on Xbox...I only play Exclusives on Xbox nowadays so obviouslyI havent been on it lately...so PS3 for me

That would depend on the person. This generation hasn't even come to a close yet. For me, if I could go back in time and prevent myself from ever getting a 360 in the first place, I would. After going through six of them due to hardware failure, the system has been more of a headache than anything else.

There is no "better" anything. Saying that PS3 > 360 would also be false.

Depends on the console which one you like better

e.g if you are a Sonyfan (not fanboy) than you would say PS3>360 or if you like Microsoft more than you would say 360>PS3

(I voted for 360 because i don't have a PS3)
