just one day after price drop
This topic is locked from further discussion.
Actually I wonder who buys this kind of stuff from Amazon? Books, Games, etc.. ok, but consoles, PCs, Hi-Fi stuff, I really don't know. Well if it's cheaper it's understandable, you take your bite, but else, I rather walk to a stroe and buy it, if it isn't availabe at the store, amazon certainly wont be the first place I look...
It just puzzles me.
[QUOTE="Zero-G_basic"]and cows thought 50 bucks wasn't enough of a price drop. well looky there lol.zzzaaa
Actually on Amazon its a $70 drop. (Probably to clear out the non HDMI 360s.)
and on amazon, I heard you don't have to pay taxes.
It needed two price cuts to get to number 1 :lol:B1ACK_MAGE
360's going to jump in to last place next year when PS3 gets FFXIII and when Wii gets Mario Kart.
Sorry.
ferolune
ps3 already get ff13, but it won't be available in 2008.
wii is possible to jump no.1 again with Mario Kart release though.
Why do people continue to use amazon to back up their arguments? Amazon is not representative of overall system sales or game sales.shadowrun69
Its not intended to show overall sales, its just shows on a lower scale the popularity of the console with its new price.

Bingo. Amazon wants to get rid of all the gimped versions of the 360 to make room for the new ones.
When is MS going to have one standard? They change the 360 hardware more than they update Windows...err... nevermind :P

I have an Amazon credit card, I buy all kinds of crap from em. I also subscribed to that Amazon Prime dealio where 2 day shipping is free on most items and overnight is 2.99.
Anyways I shop at Amazon because they are sometimes cheaper than stores and I don't have to deal with some 18 year old trying to sell me a BS extended warranty (which used to be me :P ). Nor the rude employees who like to lie and mock gamers at my 2 local GameStops (yeah you read that right, they mock their bread 'n butter customers but praise the Madden crowd).

it could be the Halo 3 upcoming release.....just maybe.

I said amazon sales are not representative of overall sales. In other words, the people who buy their consoles online are the ones who are more likely to buy a 360 or PS3. Amazon sales are a niche market and have little impact on total sales.
It's like showing the crime rate of Detroit to represent the crime rate of America, it makes no sense.

1 word boya
sure, I may have to change the thread, amazon can't stand for the whole market.
for example, we never seen GBA on list, but it always beat ps3 in NPD.
but amazon can stand for the softwaresales
like we rarely see a ps3 game on amazon list, and ps3 games never appear on NPD TOP 10 softwaresales.

Ya...because Sony has been consistant with it's hardware................
Has any gaming company ever discontinued2 sku's as fast as Sony has?
360's going to jump in to last place next year when PS3 gets FFXIII and when Wii gets Mario Kart.
Sorry.

Mariokart is weak sauce
1. amzone does not speak for the whole world. 2. let see if it can sustain it before you go claiming anything. 3. PS3 is right there at third so PS3 are still selling well when most lemming thought it wouldn't be able to sustain it longer than julyRagashahs1 true. 2 what do you think sustain means? the 360 has had the largest next gen install base for almost 2 years and continues it's streak, and that was before the price cut. 3. third behind the 360 and halo3. with the discontinued model firesale it is still just above the wiim which is just above the more expensive version of...halo3. of the top 5 3 are ms, 1 sony and 1 nintendo. lets reverse the top 5 positions for points first place gets 5 points and 5th place gets 1. ms has 10 points, sony has 3 and nintendo has 2. ms had 10. sony + nintedo have 5. ms has double sony and nintendo combined. how much do you need? sony isn't competing, they are being dominated.
