XBL Gold only had about 13M members in Q2 FY2022

I don't think we've ever seen a breakdown of GamePass vs XBL Gold so here it is.

Folks moving to GamePass and, F2P games no longer needing XBL Gold seems to be the biggest reasons.

Makes sense that most subscribers would go with the Game Pass option as it’s such a better value proposition.

I didn't think Gold was a thing anymore? Or am I wrong. I thought everything was Gamepass now?

Gold is the service where you pay money for internet use within your games.... Aka, a rip off.

@Star67: Microsoft is indeed transitioning Gold to Game Pass Core.
