XBL is horrible today

the speed of connection depends on a lot of reasons such as your connection, your location, depending if a lot of ppl are trying to access the file as you, etc. i had trouble with long dl times with ninja gaiden sigma and heavenly sword on ps3 when it first came out.

More people downloading the demo = slower download times. It's common sense, this is a really anticipated game, I'm sure if you waited til tomorrow when the downloading slowed down, the download times would be cut in half.

What he said. Every time there is a high profile download that everyone wants, the service slows down. It's not always this bad. A few weeks ago I downloaded the Blue Dargon demo in like 20 minutes and its 1.3 GB.

You don't get demos any faster than anyone else and my understanding is you have to pay for all kinds of pictures, wallpapers, and packages.

PSN just got it's first wallpapers recently and they're 100% free. We're also getting a movie service and a TV service.

Are you serious when you say that the ps3 don't get demos any faster then the 360. Just to name a few Stranglehold and Ncaa Football. I could go all day. Xbox has free wallpaper too, we have movie service, and where getting a tv service too.

You should be happy there's a demo on the 360. Ps3 doesn't have it ATM.

I have 5mb service and the demo is so far the longest downloading demo so far. I usually download demos like 10 to 15mins. Its been like an hr and its still not done. I guess alot of ppl are downloading it.

I had no problems downloading the demo today. Also I downloaded V: The Mini Series 1 & 2, and V: The Final Battle Episodes 1, 2, & 3. Xbox Live is the Juggernaut of console online service.

Well there were problems with XBL earlier today but the xbox website says XBL is "up and running", so if your problems continue I'd contact MS. I wasn't able to connect to XBL earlier today and when I finally did my downloads seemed to be alittle on the slow side.

a little late...XBL has a movie service, a real tv service is in the works, and you can also download and keep tv shows. also, a lot of wallpapers and picture packs are free. the 360 came out of the box filled with free wallpapers and picture packs.

a lot of things are free on the 360. try again fanboy.
