I went from 360 to PS4 back to Xbone.

There aren't any really appealing PS4 exclusives right now, unless you want shitty indies like a lot of hipster kids are loving these days.

I like indie games when done right. Dust, for example, was excellent. And I like that many of them are 2D. What I don't care for is the retro, deliberately pixelated graphics that so many of them have. 2D is fine, but strive to make that 2D art look good.

If the resolution really bothers you all that much, then by all means... Go get yourself an Indiestation 4.

The competitive scene right now on PS4 is fierce. Everyone is competing to stay online with PSN's crap stability. You will compete with other players to find a decent match because the matchmaking is so bad.

The best exclusive third person shooter awaits you on PS4.... Oh, wait. That would be Gears of War on XB1.

The best exclusive First person shooter awaits you on PS4 then.... Wait. No, no, that would be Halo on XB1 as well.

Well, you will surely have the best racing game available on consoles on the PS4. Uhhh, sorry. That would be Forza, which is exclusive to XB1 as well.

I suppose if you dig weebo games, then the PS4 is for you.

It usually doesn't make economic sense to "switch" because the value of the console goes down so quickly after you buy it, much like a car. I'd pick up a PS4 if there are some compelling games on it that you want. I had the Xbox 360 first, then the Xb1, then I bought a PS3 and PS4 at about the same time. Overall, I play the Xbox 360 the most, the PS4 second, the PS3 3rd, and XB1 the least. However, backwards compatibility and titles like GoW UE and Rise the Tomb will probably put move the Xb1 into 1st or 2nd place.

To save money, you can use Craigslist, eBay, or big sales like Black Friday to get a good deal on the PS4. I purchase my Xbox 360 and the PS3 both on Craigslist, and they have worked flawlessly. For the XB1 I was able to stack 2 $50 gift card deals an use a rewards credit card to knock about $120 off the price. I paid full price for the PS4 with small 5% discount from coming the Target Red Card.

As far as games go, PS4 is my default console I buy all my games for it unless they are exclusive to another console. The Last of Us and Uncharted are my favorite PS exclusives, for me they were enough to convince me to try the PS3/PS4 out.

It would be nice if there was just one console with everyone you wanted to play on it, but the market isn't there yet. If you don't mind being your own tech support guy managing system updates and keeping spyware and viruses under control, PC's give you the great flexibility on cost/performance. I work with computers all day, every day for work, including tech support, so when I get home I just want to press the "on" button and not worry about anything else. Lol. That is precisely why I play games on consoles.

The money you'll save on AA batteries alone Will pay for the PS4. Xbone is more for the trailer park crowd.

Whatever you want. Both are good systems. I'd put the edge to PS4, personally. There's a couple of great exclusives on the platform. But I own and enjoy both.

Both are pretty much the same thing so you should just stick to what you have. I had a ps4 first and I got an xbone for the exclusives lems were hyping up, and I must say I'm bored with it. The exclusives I get on it are good but there are so few. Since I had my ps4 first, I just continue to get all multiplats on there. this means I barely play my xbox one.

Just stick with the bone and get the ps4 later down the line when it is more cheaper and has a lot of exclusives that you couldn't get otherwise. That way you have plenty to play when you get it. As for the resolution thing, if that is such a big deal you should consider PC because you won't really tell the difference between a ps4 and an xbone game unless you are trying to find stuff.

Meh, the entire concept of exclusives is mostly dead. There isn't many of them and what there are tends to be these little 8-12 hour games that are not a big deal if you don't play them. Seriously, how many Fallout-sized exclusive console games are there?
