[QUOTE="Dreams-Visions"][QUOTE="mattbbpl"][QUOTE="Dreams-Visions"][QUOTE="snakes3425"]Internet polls, and news aren't very reliable, some people always vote more then once, lie about owning the system, or mistaken the warning for a lose A/V Cable (all 4 red lights) for the RRoD, and then break their system trying to fix a simple problem on their own or send in for repairs. Internet News reports either exagerate, misquote, or outright lie to attract more subscribers. DaGamingGod
I dare you to go through your friends list and ask them how many have had trouble with their 360's. DVD drive, A/V, RROD or wifi/ethernet issues.
I frekin dare you. I did. If I said to you that "most" responded saying they had issues, it would be an understatement.
Come on, Dreams, don't let personal anectodes interfere with your common sense. Internet polls are laughed at for a reason (actually, many reasons), and while the 360 failure rate is high (reportedly between 15 and 30 percent) 70 percent is ridiculous.
If I told you 70% of my friends list said that had experienced problems with their 360 in the past, what would you say?
That's not an internet poll. That's a poll of the 96 people on my LIVE friends list. What would you say then?
Around 70 percent sounds just about right to me. I love the Xbox 360 and its games but MS really needs to release a more reliable version of the console.
I love it too. Easily the best gaming console experience on the market today. But this crap is ridiculous. As can be their customer service. Hopefully, you guys won't find out. Hopefully, you bought your warranties from Best Buy. They replace on the spot, no questions asked, for 2 years.
that owns. I should have done that, but I pre-ordered my 360 in May from a GameStop so that I could get one. It was working out well for me until August '07. Dealing with MS (and refurbished systems) has been hellish.
Avoid MS warranties at all costs. Refurbs are teh suck.
