LOL! exactly. All those flopbox's break and they have to pay for shipping, how sad.
LOL. You know fanboys don't wanna hear that but it's all fact. Take off the HD-DVD drive and it's still more expensive. Factor the cost of the shipping and handling that you'll have to pay to get your 360 fixed WHEN it breaks and it's not even fair.
Take off the HD-DVD drive, since its worthless. Take off $80 since the Elite is not even close to needed. Take off the wireless adapter and wire the thing. Take off Live, since it is optional, and majority of 360 owners don't use Gold Live anyway.
So you are at $420 (360) to $600(PS3).
Adding on might be fun in your heads, but in the real world, its called flawed logic, as every unneeded extra a system has cannot be lumped in to the price of the basic system, or we'd factor in cords, electricity, games, Internet fees, extra controllers, replacement controllers, headsets, etc.
i believe he's comparing the cost of the systems by using what you actually get when you pay.

the ps3 has all this included for 600 bucks(well all of those or something equivalent.). that is what he means.
most people would rather pay 600 than a thousand for somethin.
