I am so GLAD i own a xbox 360 , since i can play them all and also Gothic 4, Two Worlds 2, Divinity II: The dragon knight saga etc etc

Xbox 360 is like the RPG gamer heaven ,7 RPGs in a single year is never heard of and Fable 3, Mass Effect 2 and Fallout Vegas are in my best games of all time list

It even had FF13, which is one of the worst games of all time though for me

And that is just the RPGs, add Alan Wake, Halo reach, Limbo, Splinter Cell, Kinect etc and 360 had hands down it best year yet in 2010

In contrast i did not buy any 2010 PS3 or Wii game

both GRAW and MLB 10 are also on the PC so they are not exclusives to any one system.

IF you want to look at the Official Gamespotlist of exclusives you will see this is another meaningless battle for second place betweeen the PS3 and 360 as the PC as a huge lead in both exclusives and high rated games.

Fixed. The PS2 version is not the same game visually and ability wise. ARE THEY the same feature for feature.... if not then the game should be listed. YOUR main reason is that its the games name... So why not list Ninja Guiden andNinja guiden Stigama?8) Its a different Name and follows your rules. :P

As you can see the MAIN games of Xbox 360 5 AAA titles are new versions of the same games and Fprza is an update of the same game TRUE it is a great update but the cost to own both in such a short time is expensive for what is given. And it is true PS3 also has updates which I highlighted. FPS and Racers TO ME do not add much (though I do give more to GT5 for the amount they add over the years it has taken unlike Forza) due to the amount of other games that offer simular experience. Still these games are GOLD when they deliver the goods like GT5 and Halo: Reach have.

I can maybe understand the issue with Forza 2 and 3, but criticizing Halo for being a repeat seems a little low. They are only based in the same universe and offer different experiences as a standalone product.

That is true! It just that in the last 5 years for 3 Halo games (3, ODST,Reach) to come out is just a be much for me. And when Killzone 3 comes out I will have the same coments, unless they really bring it like Reach did. I wish they would wait on KZ3 as its been only 2 years andtoME that is just not long enough for them to make a GREAT game, and differient it from the last game.

If you buy a 360 now, they are about equal, with a slight edge to 360, but for those that got a 360 day one, the actual games they had as exclusives are limitless

By looking at this list, there is no way that X360 won. Also PS3 exclusives are polished to the high level, unlike the X360. The only game I'm looking forward for the X360 is Gears of War 3.... that's all. I have lots of games to look forward on PS3. So the statement of "X360 wins" is a joke because it's clearly not true.

Since this a thread about exclusives, I am going to take out the in development games that aren't close to release or that we have seen nothing of from and the multiplats from both your lists and see what happens!

At the end of the day I doubt any Ps3 owner would turn down a free 360, and vice versa. Since buying my Ps3 I haven't touched my 360, but I still think Gears and Alan Wake are great games.

What I haven't seen anbody talking about , at least not in the first page , is the diversification among these exclusives, I mean , c'mon you go at xbox 360 and see : 3 halos , 2 forza ,2 project gotham racing, perfect dark which is a pos , saints row , which the ps3 has the second.

C'mon the minimal difference in the numbers , easily explained by the year ahead( I mean literally) : Ghost Recon , Condemned , Saints Row , Perfect dark , Kameo , Ace Combat 6 (most that'd be mulitplat otherwise) can't make up for the diversification in the PS3 library.

The fact that Mass Effect 1&2, Crack Down, GTA, Lost Odyssey, Assassins Creed series, Dead Rising 1&2 and most other games sell well on 360 and the multiplats generally sell much better on 360 with a few exceptions where the PS3 version just edges out the 360 version means your statement is ridiculous.

Maybe The Amount of Consoles sold has something to do with that? I mean for a system that has been outsold by a vast majority and yet "with a few exceptions where the Ps3 version just edges out the 360 version" is pretty impressive. And of course Ps3 people are going to be talking about exclusives cause thats something they never have to worry about not having. We get plenty of them so we don't have time to be talking about multiplats. ;) But in all Seriousness I've spoken to MANY Xbox Fanboys over the years who can not tell which games are exclusives or not! Why? Because they say they only play Halo. In fact I remember speaking to one who said that Halo makes up for all the games Xbox doesn't have compared to the Ps3.

IDC about what critics say I prefer the 360 exclusives but I'd rather not pay for a gold subscription.

The problem is that the biggest scores goes to overpolished games, which are usually short,linear, repeatitve shooters and action titles that i only rent personally an find extremely boring in general

The best games for me this generation are Fable 2-3, Mass Effect 1, Demons Souls, Fallout Vegas, Lost Odyssey, Alan Wake etc and none is AAA

So, actually having the most AAA titles is the worst thing ever this genration, since AAA scores usually means a very limitd and boring game

And according to this thread, noone really likes short, linear titles much, even if they are AAA or AAAA, makes no difference
