Xbox 360 get off your rearend and release some graphic kings already!!!!!!!

I'm tired of PS3 owners gloating with their exclusive graphic kings around here for the past two or so years. This madness all started with Uncharted and MGS4 and I want this reign of terror to end this year!

With that said, Xbox.... do something about this catastrophe. You haven't had anything close since Gears 1.

When do you think the Xbox will once again claim some graphic king ownage?

Who cares? 360 doesn't need the best looking game on consoles as long as they are good, fun games.

besides. why is the 80-84 area left out? because the 360 literally has TONS of diversity in that range. hmm.....

Viva Pinata(1 and 2), Ace Combat, Halo Wars, Alan Wake, Banjo, Crackdown, Saints Row, Perfect Dark0> and Kameo barely missed the 80s:?

Listen the PS3 has had some good looking games come out no doubt. Majority says they are the best looking on a console, but the differences between the best looking games on the PS3 to the ones on the 360 would make your eyes bleed. The bottom line is the differences are very little. For example Alan Wake gets hit hard because of its textures. Well to notice that it didn't have that great of textures you have to stop the game focus on a stone for example and look at the detail. When you have to do that to compare games you are streching.

It seems a couple borderline games slipped beneath 90 for both the 360 and PS3. The 360 has 18 more "quality" exclusives according to metacritic, 17 more "fair" or "average" titles, as well as more than double the amount of exclusives.

That last thing we need is another graphics king.

How about we start actually improving gameplay - like addressing the silly black and white moral choices and shoehorning tiresome elements into the game.

Get a PC?

Graphics king is a made up SW term, it doesn't exist, and it means less than nothing.

Even if we lived in a world whereartsyle and graphic design did not matter, nobody here has any actual proof that game A looks better than game B. All graphic king debates are shouting matches, whoever is loudest wins.

I may pick up Banjo Kazooie:N and B when I trade in Splinter Cell later. Does the PS3 have a game like that? (just using it as an example to counter act all this 'less varied' nonsense). OT - just playing the demo now, that game looks beautiful graphically!Ravensmash

I've discovered games like K&B were cut off (thus the 85+ standard) to make some variety argument.

360s pinnacle of variety barely missed 85s on many of those games. it's neglible.

Best game library to you....not everyone shares your opinion, so stop passing it off as fact.

So it was fine when lemmings praised their exclusive games graphics prior to Killzone 2?

I think MS has other priorities like making great mp and coop experiences. Also this gen is not like past ones. The graphic diferences between most good looking games (KZ2, U2, Gears2, Alan Wake, RDR, Mass Effect 2, etc...) is minimal.
