PS3 is at 1.5 million after....4 months ?
4x3 = 12 months = 1 year .
1.5 x 3 = 4.5 million + 1-2 million for UK sales . = 5.5-6.5 Million after 1 years . Laughable .

the more expensive these consoles become the longer it will take to reach the same number shipment numbers as their predecessors. just simple economic realities at work. More people can purchase something for $200 then can purchase it for $400, and higherklactose

You can buy a 360 for $300 the same price PS2 was those 2 years it sold 28 million consoles.

B) GeOW is doing really good

C) The PS3 is outselling it 3 or 4:1 in Japan and last month the 360 only sold 50k more untis than the PS3 here in the US and the PS3 has yet to be released in Europe, so the PS3 is doing ok for now

D) Halo 3 will be a hit and Mass effect looks great, we will have to wait and see how it does

One it hasn't been confirmed. Two do you think they are really going to sell alot of the Zephyr at a $479 price point? All it is adding is a 120gb HDD and HDMI port. How is that beneficial to gaming?

Rough estimates? Your estimates are way off. Like I said before 360 will be lucky to sell 15 million by years end.

360 has a huge game library of course it should outsell PS3 considering it's $200-$300 cheaper.

It's competing not only against the 360 and Wii but also the PS2 itself.

M$ shipped 4 million consoles from Jan. 2006 to June 2006. And now are only going to ship 1.6 million in the same time frame.

Sold numbers are far more important than shipped and the PS3 has yet to outsell the 360 according to NPD. In Japan is has according to media create but not by so much that it offsets the difference since the 360 sold significantly better in the US than PS3 during some months. Sony has shipped about 4 million but even the most generous estimates put their sales at under 2 million.
