I seriously hope that game is good. I hadn't even heard of that game before you mentioned it some time ago as it being your most anticipated 360 game, but I'd feel sad if it turned out to be crap even though I don't know you. :S

My 360 cost less than a PS3. I'm playing the same games that you'll be playing, but I've spent less in order to do so. You...... lose!

Honestly I'm not as excited for next year as I was last.

Take out the PS3's exclusives and the PS3's 2008 library is nothing except MGS4. For Son't sake I would hope it sells really good or it'll be ported to the 360 to make up for it.

MGS4 is a very promising game, personally i think its a little to ambitious for console tech.
If you were to talk Franchise Gran Turismo is bigger than both, all 4 of its main titles have sold 8+ million copies each. GT4+3 outsells the Halo series,SC,MGS,DOA series (obv not combined)

If you were just going by quality and potential, PS3 has a field day

To me, the 360 lineup was better than the PS3 lineup. I don't like MGS. Don't like FF. KZ2 is iffy but I would have gotten that.

I am a Hermit but possibility to rent games would be nice and also the chance to play with friends also would be nice.. Also, Too Human alone was enough to get me interested... Too Human just looks great.

I never played Final Fantasy? Really? I must have mistaken myself for playing Final Fantasys I-XII and Chrystal Chronicals. Silly me.

I really don't care about Gran Turismo. If someone is dumbenough to buy a system over tha one game though, then they deserving throwing that money away.

Yeah, those are all good games that can replace those very few notable PS3 games. But Ninja Gaiden I would think is a better replacement for MGS4. And WhiteKnight story has no predecessors, so, don't try and act like is a reliable game. Remember Lair.... Yeah, a huge flop. And it was suppose to be such a good game.

WTH? Factor 5 does not equate to Level -5 probably the best JRPG developers in a long long while. Track Record spotless? Square Enix doesn't give there most popular franchise to a nobody to develop.

Forza 2 just came out not too long ago.. There's no way in hell there will be a forza 3 in 08.

Actually, it all really comes down to what games you are looking forward to the most, therefore, there really is no clear cut winner. One thing that is certain though is that they both will be getting their fair share of great titles, that's for sure. As a matter of fact, when you weigh out the variety between the 2 that will be coming out, I actually think they are pretty evenly matched across the spectrum.

One thing in particular about the 360's 08' line up that I personally find very appealing is the variety of games coming out that are not shooters. With games like Too Human, Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom, Alan Wake, Sacred 2: Fallen Angel, Fable 2, Ninja Gaiden 2, Left 4 Dead, Dark Messiah of Might and Magic: Elelments, Infinite Undiscovery, Lost Odyssey and Splinter Cell: Conviction coming out, I personally am of the firm belief that the 360 has a more varied and more impressive year than it did in 07'.

Of course not all of those games are going to be system sellers that appeal to the casual audience and some of them are also going to PC as well, but they are examples of a variety of games outside of shooters for the 360 that will definitely appeal to the core gaming base....and that is a major plus for the 360 from a core gamer's perspective. As I could care less about "system sellers", as I personally want a wide variety of games that have core base appeal. And as far as my taste in games go, the 360 is definitely looking up to par in that category for 08'.

A multiplate doesnt help or hurt a systems line up when the other system its competing with gets the games, and your biased statement is false, multiplates are the same now for both systems almost every time. Way to live in the past, what will you say next? PS3 has no games?

so if a game is multiplat, how does tht stop you for buying it for the 360? 360 multiplats are always superior anyway, when a game releases on both.

No since cod4 is better on ps3 and so is burnout, games now are starting to look better on ps3
