xbox 360 new update gives a whole new meaning to playing!!

the new update on the 360 with unlockable trophies from games we play for the avatars give gaming on this console an interesting new turn and touch,so does the avatars now feel more living other than just standing on the menu interface..i was delighted to buy some gears of war, bioshock 2 and splinter cell conviction gear for my avatar including the new big daddy helmets and also some authentic designer and sports wear..microsoft do bring ideas that are updatable and they keep improving the console on the long run..i think the most lively and exciting interface is of the 360's..

Avatars, gamerscore, achievements... I don't care about all that.

I care about playing good games and having fun whilst doing that.

The only thing I really enjoyed about the recent update was the addition of being able to finally add instant streaming NETFLIX films to your que from the 360 itself. And the theater, I should add. That has plenty of MST3k potential. As for the themed avatar clothing...I'm not paying one cent for any of those. They honestly should be unlocked by playing their respective games. At least they got it partly right with the unlockable clothing, but I doubt there's going to be anything as signficant as a Big Daddy helmet or UNSC armor.

When it becomes more common for people's avatars to be the controllable characters in a game, or on things like 1 vs 100, then people may show more interest in customising their avatar. It is still not something I would ever pay money for.
